no idea on prices but I was told that uncharted and ufc undisputed for ps3 would also be on sale.. they also mentioned guitar hero 3 bundles but didn't specify what system.
 
Might be able to actually skip this sale altogether. Doesn't seem to be anything to me from this list and getting 12 games from the B1G1 might be good enough for me to pass up the B2G1 if there is one.

No, the gameday is not "suppose [sic] to knock 50% off". It says "UP TO 50% off". Please read the ad before complaining about the prices.

On topic, I agree that the sale isn't much of what we as CAGs are accustomed to seeing when we think about sales. However, for those who have managed to accrue some GS credit w/ the recent trade-in deal, etc., you might be able to find something at a fair price that makes you believe, at least, GS isn't bending you over once again.

This is my line of thinking towards this sale. I just completely cashed out with 9 games from the B1G1 and considering my backlog is already longer than my completed and currently playing list combined, I'd say the mediocre prices have just saved my GS credit for the inevitable (albeit probably farther off than we all suspect) B2G1. I just personally feel like that B1G1 was such an epic disaster for GS in ways they haven't quite embraced that their going to think twice before the next promotion that's even slightly similar. They probably made a shitload of cash, considering they sold about 75% of their inventory, but still. Wait, where was I going with this? I don't know.
 
Sonic collection looks like the only one for me.

I would have picked up iL for the PS3, as I started the game via a rental on that platform. Hate to pick it up for the 360 and have to start over.

Yeah I went back and read that about the % off, thanks for pointing that out, try not to do it like a douchebag next time.

Correct, they don't.
 
They raised the price on Disgaea 3, or was it always planned to be that price? I might pass on this and wait for another online deal on Disgaea 3 and Persona 4.. not worth putting up with gutted copies, unless I can manage to get them to hold sealed copies for me.

Order online, they rarely ship gutted copies for online orders.

or you could just buy a sealed copy of the game you want from gamestop a few days before the sale and do a return/rebuy on the 26th. did that last year and had no problem.

I finally managed to talk my wife into Disgaia. But....that was at the cheaper 14 dollar price. She is not coming up w/more money. I think she needs to be part of a forum called cheap ass biatches. Jokes..but geez, what a disappointment. Wish I can knab Persona 4 too since I do have the guides to Persona and Disgaia. The rest of the list blows....

The distinct lack of good and or decent $10 potential is most disheartening to say the least. Hoping it gets better
 
Over 50 pages of wishful thinking without taking a single glance at last year's gameday list to get a decent reference point on what this year will be like. Good job CaGs, good job.
 
I will definitely buy Persona 4, considering that there will be a definite stock for GameDays, instead of me wandering around for it.
If that Yugioh game were like $15 cheaper, maybe...

What is the relevance of last year's list at the point where we have (what is allegedly) this year's list in the OP?

Just because last year's list was good/bad/whatever doesn't mean that this year's will be the same.
