Afro Samurai for the 360 and the Sonic Collection for the PS3 look like what I am going to get...

And I am sure everyone has already heard this many many times, but if you have any way of playing Persona 4 and have not yet, (assuming you have interest in good rpgs) you owe it to yourself to get it for 20 bucks. It is easily one of my all time favorites.

Look at the ad again. It doesn't say "50% off", it says "up to 50% off".

And yeah, this list is pretty meh . . . the few things on it that I would have been interested in, I've already gotten for the listed price or cheaper. Oh well, I've spent too much recently anyway. A bad list just saves me some cash!
 
Persona is a good deal for those who missed it before. Disgaea 3 is not bad either. I would haved liked Eternal Sonata (PS3) or some of the more recent DS J-RPG's.

Probablly wont happen.

They use this sale to get you in the door and see all the stock they have from the recent extra trade in deal they had and hope to hook you into buying a ton of their overpriced used stuff.
 
hmm... you know it's bad when i skimmed through that whole list, and was still unsure if these prices were before or after the "sale"

I'm going to assume it is just to help accommodate the way they do the gameday sale. Putting the games on sale in that big box helps people see what is in stock and on sale. This relieves the workers from having to do a whole lot of extra work during the game sale. The only way to accomplish this without possibly loosing sales is to gut the game so to prevent theft.

Of course this doesn't help when somebody has a gun in their hands, but it helps prevent petty theft.
 
It'd be nice if Persona 4 would show up on their website, since there isnt a Gamestop store near me that will carry the game. Ever.
 
A gameday deal full of MSRP games! Score! Very unimpressed by most of the list as most everyone else is. I will probably pick up Saw for the 360 though. Hopefully I can get a sealed copy.
 
Blast! Why does fate deny me such simple things as cheap disposable games such as Jurassic: The Hunted for the 360!?
 
I need to get a regular edition copy of Fallout 3 and interested in Left 4 dead 2. The only problem is if they have a buy 2 get 1 free sale that math comes out cheaper to get them used and one game free.
 
hope for a B2G1 but if there isn't I'll still probably grab the Sonic PS3 collection and maybe Persona 4 to give as a birthday gift

seems odd though at the multiplatform games only dropping on one platform :???:

They gut them because the employees play them and then they sell them as new. And we can't have a Gamestop thread without someone bringing up the concept of gutting like they're the first person to ever know about it ever.

Also, I'd pay $30 for Sacred, though it seems like it should be getting cheaper than that. I really wish I hadn't sold it, but it did have this hideous "GAMESTOP PREORDER" banner plastered on it.

That was just a rumor it being 15 bucks I think. The game is 39.99 on their website and with 50% off its 19.99

It's not bad. I am huge fan of the movies, so I enjoyed the game. Not worth the $60 I paid at release, but it is definitely a look at $20 if you are fan of the movies.

True enough. I'll just add that Persona 4 was one of my favorite games on the PS2, and I didn't even play it myself. My brother played it from start to finish in around 2 weeks and we loved every second.

If the B2G1 comes up, will probably snag Ratchet & Clank 2, Demon's Souls, and Heavy Rain/FFXIII.
