Because GOD FORBID the lines get clogged up during the event by incompetent customers asking for employees to open their sealed games for them. :roll:
 
Nothing for me. I'm actually kinda surprised. Usually there's something I managed to pass over when it came out and I'd be kind of interested in, but nothing like that this year. (Already snagged Persona 4, before the hate wagon barrels my way)

Still don't get it lol. I would think it just burns man hours and is more trouble for them then what its worth. Who the fuck would rather have a gutted game than a sealed one.
 
These all pretty much suck. The only thing that I may get is Dragonball Z Raging Blast if it is $10. But other than that I guess I will be holding onto my credit...

I was joking. It's about the only semi-logical reason I could come up with. It's actually very silly for them to gut all their games rather than keeping them sealed if they're not simply putting one up as a display case.

I should have listened to you guys. When i read that these sales were crap and stuff, i thought you guys were over exaggerating. Im kinda disappointed. Oh well, B2G1 or even bringing B1G1 back can change lots of things.
 
Hate to agree, but this looks like some terrible deals happening. There might be some wins in there that I am not just looking for, but how am I going to burn through my GS credit at this rate (and no, not looking for volunteers!)

How are they going to sell any copies if they only have one on display? I'm not sure about where you guys are, but around here people always take the display box and bring it up to them. It's a lot easier to have many boxes out so people can get it from that and just put more every few hours or minutes. It's a lot easier than having to put it back every few minutes while your store is full. Anyways, I'm probably going to go to get Disgaea 3 since I can't find it cheaper. Any chance they'll keep a copy sealed for me if I call and ask them to save a sealed copy for me?
 
Ehh, the House of the Dead collection for 20? I thought it retailed for that. At any rate, if it happened to be $10 I'd buy it.

Not sure if I should call or go though. The guys at the Game Stop I go to remember me so I think it'd be better if I go, but it'd be easier if I call.

Used prices on the games listed DO NOT usually drop, at least they didn't last year as far as I can remember. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Rune Factory for the Wii is amazing and I'm shocked more people aren't checking it out for $19.99... it was worth $50, it's worth the $30 it retails for now, and $20 is a steal for it.

Harvest Moon + Zelda = win, in my book.

I'll probably get Phantasy Star Portable, but other than that, very disappointing list... it seems instead of 50% off, this year is "up to" 50% off... I'd consider Soul Cal for PSP for $20, but not $25 since it's already cheaper than that on Amazon.

I find it hard to believe this is the full list of games, as well... so I'll wait for better sources.
 
Lame I have a 20 dollar gift card I've been wanting to get rid of so might get saw or spiderman friend of foe for 360. Probably won't though and will just hold on to it or buy a 1600 point card with it.
 
Heh, I've bought some of these games cheaper months back elsewhere. Gamestop is always so late to the party.

Some games can be had from places like Newegg for cheaper everyday, yet this is a "special" Gameday annual sale? This will be a successful sale as usual, but only for the ignorant.

The problem is that there are way too many uniformed gamers out there that see the word SALE and go apesh!t over it. They have no idea they are being taken.
 
I was one of the lucky ones to get in one the gs.com B1G1 sale. It will take quite a bit more than that list for Gamestop to pique my interest.

Learn what? How to rake the average consumer over the coals? They're already the best at is. People on these boards need to learn that GameStop doesn't give two shits about us, because they don't make money on us. So, they really don't need to learn anything.
 
Well, I just purchased a PS3 and currently have no games for it. So maybe I can get MGS4 for 19.99. But besides that, this sale is fail.
