Guess the Game from the Screenshot

So far you guys got:
#1 - Mega Man Command Mission
#2 - Virtua Quest
#3 - Klonoa 2
#4 - Galactic Wresting
#5 - Vanguard Bandits
#6 - Chibi Robo

#7 & #8 are still up for grabs. They're both well known games, but the scenes are just a little obscure.
Yeah it is. Thought it might confuse some people ;)
It did, so I searched for Pitfall and looked for Pitfall 2, but when the scene didnt fit I just kept reading the Wikipedia and found out about the MUA level.

Which reminds me, I need to catch up on MUA.
2) Virtua Quest
4) Galactic Wresting
5) Brigand
7) Pitfall 2

don't know for sure but is #8 Skies Of Arcadia? Could have sworn there were enemies that looked like that
Isn't #7 actually Marvel Ultimate Alliance, from Arcade's level?

EDIT: Nevermind... I should finish to the last post before quick posting... I'm going to bed.

Here are some 8-bit shooters:

6

I think I got a couple:

#4 Is this part of the Star Solider series?
#5 Aleste, not sure which one, maybe the first one.
#6 Gun Nac

You got #5 and #6. #5 is Aleste, better known as Power Strike in the US. #4 is not part of the Star Soldier series.

That leaves #1, #2, and #4.
#2 is Astro Warrior. Thought it was Blade Eagle 3D at first...
Astro Warrior is correct.

A is Sky Kid (NES, might have been posted before, or at least I've seen it used in one of these types of threads before).
B is TransBot (SMS, had to look this one up, but the boxart was extremely familiar).
C is Magmax (NES).
D is Xexyz (NES).
E is Cloud Master (SMS).

G is Operation Wolf. Dropped quite a few tokens in that game
I isn't one of the games off the Super Scope 6 (the game that came with the Super Scope) is it?
K Gotcha
Definitely. That was one of the first games I ever owned on the NES since Gotcha! was my favorite movie as a kid.
J is Gangster Town.
thats the game, I was beating my head on the wall trying to remember it. It was one of the games I got when Children's Palace was having a huge markdown on all MS games for $3 a piece and the system was $25 (already had one at the time though). Remember bugging my dad to drop about $75 on games that day. Shit was glorious

6 is Crusader of Centy. I bought it at a thrift store and was stoked to find out it was an RPG, my first on the Genesis.

Lovin' the penguin theme, by the way. :D

Pengin theme!

2 is Penguin Land (IIRC)
and is from the Sega Master System. Now that I think about it, sort of a paternal pre-pre-pre Mister Driller sort of game. INFURIATING. I have no idea why I played it so much as a kid. I can still clearly recall the music.

I think there was an arcade version before it that was more action oriented, or so I remember...(will have to look it up later). What the hell am I thinking...it's #10 on this list! Which I looked up and it is called Pengo.

8 is an Adventure Island of sorts. Not sure which.

5 looks like an NES game. 2 I recognize but don't know the title...rememebr seeing it in a Nintendo Power from LONG ago.

1 has to be a Parodius variant....trying to find this let me find out that 12 is "Penguin Adventure." How straightforward.

Looking around more reveals that 9 is Amazing Penguin.

The following answers are correct:
2. Penguin Land
6. Crusader of Centy
7. Mega Man 3
9. Amazing Penguin
10. Pengo
11. Penguin Adventure

I also added a 12th picture, which I neglected to upload the first time.
