Guess the Game from the Screenshot

That one was difficult. It's a pretty rare game called "Faussete Amour" that came out for the PC Engine. Back when I was a kid I remember seeing it in a magazine (possibly GameFan, they always had cool import articles.) I was intrested in it cause of the more "adult" theme it had, plus I was 12. I never played it but I don't think the game is particularly good.

Anyways here's another that's 100% more difficult:

Looks like Hideo Kojima going crazy. Maybe this is an advertisement for MGS4 ala Romero's for Daiktana where Kojima is telling us he's going to make us his *****. Seriously, I have no idea. But PC-Engine= cool & Gamefan= best ever.

Good god. I keep tabs on this thread and haven't been able to guess any for a good long while.

Stop with the Japan only releases, jerks!

I'll try to put up more domestic releases, but even those will be guessed in about 2 minutes. Maybe I should start taking a part of the screenshot instead of the full picture.

But this a special post for you Strell only, let him guess it by himself:

I had to right click to check the properties, but dammit, I'm pretty sure that's Super Mario Bros 3.

Now, what system is it on? There are multiple answers to that question. I'm willing to bet not even Assius Donut knows.
Yep, Cooking Fighter Hao. We need more cooking games.

Here's the next:

Having never played the games, but knowing almost all the history of the games, I'm pretty sure that's Zaj from the Suikogaiden games, although I don't which volume.

Yep, It's Suikogaiden Vol.2.

That's the NES version:)

Wow that's the first time I ever noticed the Racoon outfit borders the 3 in the title screen to Super Mario Bros 3.
Tecmo World Wrestling
Sooooo good.
Correct

Okay, last one for a while, if anyone else want to post a few screenshots be my guest:

Akuji?
Akuji?
Yeah, Akuji The Heartless. Surprised someone got it so quickly since the picture quality is so crappy. I never played the game, but from the screens it didn't look very good. I get a Shadowman vibe from this game.
Here's one for you guys...

Karnov

Edit: Just seeing that pic got the music from the first stage stuck in my head.

A guess, but Bram Stoker's Dracula on the Atari Lynx.

Edit: Google confirms this, but it's actually called "Dracula the Undead."

Here's what I got:

1. Spider (PS1)
2. Floating Runner (PS1)
3. Alundra (PS1)
4. Vandal Hearts (PS!)
5.
6.
7. Tail Concerto (PS!)
8.

Looks like they could all be PS1 games.

All those are correct.
5 could be Ehrgeiz's adventure mode.
Also correct.

Yep, that's right.

OP, change the filename of your pictures. One can look at the object properties and see that you left the original name of the file when uploading....

I know, not a big deal may have been brought up. Just pointing it out.

Actually it was just those two pics. I forgot to rename them like I normally do when I host them myself. I was kinda shocked to see Space Panic got guessed right away. But thanks for the heads up. Anyways here's another.

I actually have played a variant of Space Panic so I was fairly certain I knew the answer, but I did right click on the pic to see if the name was any help.

Basically it saved me a trip to Wikipedia or Google to check myself before answering.
