Guess the Game from the Screenshot
^ So you would recomend Solomon's Key? I have a few points for my VC that have been doing nothing for several months, and I've been itching for some old school goodness. I forgot this game was availible until I saw your post.
If you don't have a NES (you can pick it up for about a buck), yeah I would recommend it on the VC but there are a few things: it was a lot harder than Fire N Ice and second, its a one of the first NES releases so its a bit crude even for old school gaming.

I hated this game so much

Really dug this game

this game is so fucking broken, its not even funny and yet it never stopped me from renting it over and over again at The Sweat Shop after bowling on Saturday morning (the cover hypnotized me to renting the piece of shit)

That's "8 Eyes" for the NES! I really liked the concept of that game. Hard as hell, though.

Ah, the infamous "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde". Can't argue it's badness.

8 Eyes made me break a controller. How I was able to actually break a NES controller, I'll never know but I did.

Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde was fucking garbage which was probably the reason why I was the only one to ever rent it, they eventually just gave me the game. And for that, I will forever forsaken all of my fond memories using their giant spin art machine fucking up t-shirts and sweatshirts.

^ Maze Hunter 3D (Those 3d glasses were pure awesome!)

Maze Hunter made me have a seizure....but hey, at least that experience made me put down the VirtualBoy when I was about to buy it with my birthday money.

I want to say 5 is Fisherman's Bass Club (it not, it was the first Natsume PS2 one that came with the reel. I use to own both of them). I know what 2 is (its an early PSX game) but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me though.

Is 3 some Neo Geo game? Like Samurai Shodown or something in that series? Either that or one of the countless beat-em-up/MERCS type games, but I'm not a NG connoisseur.

It is a Neo Geo fighting game, but it's not Samsho.

tangytangerine: sorry but it's not.
#-oYou're right and I can't believe I forgot this game, especially since I owned a copy at one time.

It's a title called One.

Yep, that's it. I always get this one confused with Apocolpse which is the game with Bruce Willis.
#3 World Heroes
nope, but very close.
4 is Reel Fishing 2
nope, keep guessing
3 is Fighter's History (possibly Dynamite) and thats Karnov
Correct, I also would've accepted Karnov's Revenge.

Here's 4 fighters that are complete ass. I'd say the 3rd one is the hardest. 1 and 4 are pretty easy, if you were a fighter nut like me during the early 90's.

Rolling Thunder for the NES, made by Tengen in the classic Black case.

Edit: I used to own this game when it first came out. Played the hell out of it ;)

Your good :) I had it as well. I remembered it from the first level with all the doors but never got past that. That was 15 years ago I bet. I could never remember the title until it showed up in a recent issue of EGM. I am really surprised someone got it so quickly :p. Who's got the next one?

Man... this is tough... I would said Star Control, but I know that's wrong... and I woulda said Novastorm, but that's wrong too. So I'm going to guess that it's one of the Shockwave games.

Mutant League Football

aka "The game that most needs to come to the Virtual Console so I can play it again without hooking up a Genesis."
