As most of you know, a while back I used to post every Video Game and DVD deal listed in the weekly ads for BB, CC, & Target a couple days to a week or so before the ads were in effect. It became very time-consuming to do this every week and while most of you greatly appreciated my efforts to save everyone here some money, some others took it for granted and thought I was "supposed" to do it. There are other reasons that I stopped posting them, but in an attempt to move on with this post a little faster, I'll skip those. So heres the deal, unlike before, I'm not going to be able to list every VideoGame/DVD that is listed in every ad. I will try to list the new releases and the deals that I believe stand-out the most. I may not be able to do this every week, but I will try to do it as much as I can. One other thing, not to be a jerk in anyway (if I'm not already coming off as one), but please don't pm me asking me what store has the cheapest microwave for sale or if I can check every ad to see if the Sony Model DT7778 camcorder is on sale, and if so how much and what are the specs. My PM box used to be flooded every week with these types of questions and while I tried to answer as many as I could, a lot of ppl were left unanswered, which led to me being the jerk who doesn't respond to PMs. Oh yeah, and I don't know crap about good prices on PC games, so I'll assume on those.

Damn it! Minish Cap is out already?! Where does the time go... Great price at CC, looks like I'll be getting it with the $5 off coupon from this months Blender.

And of course, thanks Trust! Glad you decided to go for it again.
 
I came up to the post deals forum and saw this and was like :shock: . I thought you weren't ever going to do it again. I gotta say I'm sorry for the past becuase I might have come off as a jerk if you remember that one thread asking where you were and where your weekly deals post was. Zelda Minish Cap is an awesome price and even better after that blender coupon. Thanks again trust. Your post is one of the most appreciated posts.
 
Thank you so much Trust. I'm sure the rest of the CAG community appreciate all the hard work that goes into typing up the weekly ads. You know, not only are you doing a great service to the CAG community, but the rest of the Internet as well! I know the DVDTalk forums used to get their weekly ads from your CAG posts. So, don't you see, you're an Internet celebrity (or at least an Internet celebrity in the world of bargain/deals websites :) ).
 
I hardly post, but thought this post was required as I have been a long time reader of your weekly ad updates. Thank you very much for the early prices and I hope to see you continue posting in '05.
 
Thanks for posting. I know you're swamped as it is, but I was wondering if you could tell me what day Circuit City gets the Minish Cap in. It should say "Available **/**" or something like that under the price. If you don't have time to check that's cool too. Take care.

This may sound stupid, but is the "Once upon a time in the West" DVD the remastered 2-Disc set? Is that the only version available? If so, it's practically free at $6.99!
 
Is RE4 not advertised, or is it just not on sale, which is why you didn't list it? I was hoping CC would have it on sale or offer a $10 gift card with purchase. Maybe BB will have it for cheaper.

Great price on Minish Cap; I'll finally have something new to play on my DS (I know its a GBA game).

I am pretty sure the two-disc version is the only version of the movie ever released. It is normally $9.99 most places, so it isn't a huge markdown, but it is a great movie and well worth picking up.

Actually it comes out next week, so it should have been listed in the ads. I'm sure trustcompany skipped it since it's probably retailing for $49.99

I suggest you should buy it now if you have the money, then come back on Sunday, with (Halo 2 and) receipt in hand, and let them change the price difference for you, so you get to play it a few days sooner :).

That Once Upon a Time in the West is a great deal. I'm assuming it is the two disk restored version. Any Sergio Leone fan should pcik it up. It's practically less than the price of lunch!

Also, what has everyone's experience been with pricematching at Best Buy AND using the Gamer Gift Card at the same time? It it usually successful?

If that is so, we could get Zelda: Minish Cap for under $20 if this is true. :D

ive had success at one store while another one basically told me to eff off

I don't think the coupon in Blender magazine will work... It says it cannot be combined with any sale items and cannot be combined with any other offer. Besides, will a printed copy work?
