it says the bundle is NOT in stock. is this because the game has not been released yet? will it still get to us on the street date?

doubt it, given that its coming ground. 9 days to launch, and max of 7 business days to ship it. They'd have to start getting them out to get make it by launch day.

Not the same with me, I got mine on launch last time and it was shipped a few days before.
 
Just checked my order status.

Everything says backordered (Wii elite, ordered day 1), but I actually have three faceplates, two of which are cancelled. Strange.

Yeah I know what you mean, but isnt the street date the 28th? So really, I could get it a little under a week early.

Coupons are considered an item on your list. It's the same reason you're charged $0.00 for every free item. You coupon isn't backordered or at the warehoused, it's shipped, because you already received it.

Give them atleast 24hrs before you go on freakout mode...I know its hard since the elite bundle isn't available anymore. I had 2 orders one with coupon one without and canceled the one without coupon but they canceled both so I sorta know what you're going through...I hope they fix this shit.

If you could form a coherent sentence, I might be able to understand your situation better. From what I can tell by reading through your block of text with zero commas or periods, you had an issue, emailed them, and didn't get a reply yet. That's hardly "worst cs ever". Give it a day, damn.

Street Date is the 28th, and shipping takes 2-7 business days. There's 6 business days between now and then, so I suppose you could get it, but I doubt it. :) Either way I'm in the same boat.
 
I gotta agree with them, Bobthecat. Nobody wants to read what looks like a first-grader's post.... Don't be so lazy.

I hope you're communicating with their customer service better than this.
 
I also had an issue with credit card and got an email saying to call a number or email.
I called twice within business hours and left messages (automated message takes forever to finish before you can leave a message), emailed both the service@redoctane email and the guy who sent the initial email and haven't heard anything back either.

Wouldn't call their service stellar, but im not worried yet.
 
Rock Band seems like a much better game. Plus, I have no doubt that with how much I played the first two I'll beat this one on expert in five hours.

I've resigned myself to playing it at Wal-Mart all day the day of its release to save $90. ;)

Does anyone know if the free Guitar Strap from Best Buy is 1" or 2"?

As for the bundle, while I'm interested in it, after having to return and wait for confirmation that I'm getting my money back with Buy.com, I just can't see myself ordering from a store that doesn't have something local for me to return it too should an issue come up.

Somehow my credit card was declined. Hopefully I can get that straightened out whenever they open for business today. But it's concerning that on my order status page, everything is "clearing" except for the second faceplate, which is "cancelled." They better not start short-shipping bundle items.

Nevermind on the cancelled item. Looks like they accidentally put the PS3/360 faceplate in the Wii Bundle, so now I have a Wii faceplate listed at the end of the order.

Botticus, does it say on the order page at Redoctane that your cc was declined? I want to make sure mine wasn't, but you say your items are clearing even though your cc was declined, so I'm a bit confused.

I got an email that said my card was declined, so you'd know if that was the case. I'm guessing since I used a card with a limit on it, the initial authorization may have still been attached, so the real $90 charge was over.

How long did it take to get declined? if you don't mind me asking between you ordered and the time it got declined.

I ordered on 8/29 I think, and my card got charged, and my Elite Bundle thing is still at the warehouse or something.
 
While their CS hours aren't very good, now that they're open, it took 30 seconds to get a new card authorized and my order is back to processing. He said there's no specific ship date, but they're planning on having them delivered as close to the release date as possible.
