So yeah i thought I would start this thread for the heck of it, and also to see/hear some suggestions to what songs should (MUST) be added, as well as opening up the discussion for ideas for hopefully IMPROVED battle modes as well as adding new "rock legends"

......and GO!

No more boss battles, or at least cut out the lame ones.

I'm stuck on the final boss battle in GH3. It's pretty annoying. If I cannot beat a song, I want it to be because I'm not good enough (and to practice more) not because some weird power-up got thrown my way.

That song is on GH2 Encore: Rock the Eighties; it's called "Play With Me." There's omething about the guitar wankin' in that song that makes me smile every time.

Other then that...

-Bring back Pandora and Grim Ripper.

-Actually let people choose between rhythm and bass (if not, then at least for a few of the songs). It'd be pretty badass if there could be 3 player co-op with someone doing bass, rhythm and lead guitar. Though I understand that might as well just go Rock Band route with that, but still choice between the two would be nice for whoever isn't lead guitar.

-More boss battles or simply "legendary" guitarists (as much as I like Tom Morello, I would never think of calling him a guitar "legend"). Maybe as an expansion with nothing but just boss battles and original songs for those who bitch about them so they don't have to suffer through...

-No Bret Micheals

-Less hideously frightening character designs. Though I like Casey Lynch's new look...

Agreed, Pink Floyd and Hendrix are a must. And how about on the next one with just go with the whole paranoid album, and some god forbid!!
 
-How about Bass career mode. Bassists are getting screwed double this year with no bass career mode in GH3 or Rock Band.

-motion capturing an actual drummer so that he doesn't look like a robot. If they got Bret Michaels to mocap for the singer, who not have him call in RIkki Rokket for the drums?

-Bring back Pandora.

-Final song: Dueling Banjos turned metal. If it worked for Devil Went Down To Georgia, it'll work with this too.
 
Fixing the random slowdown issue when I invoke star power would be a good start. No way there should be any slowdown in a rhythm game. Especially one as highly touted as Guitar Hero. There was never any hint of slowdown on the last gen versions.. totally inexcusable.
 
I haven't had any slowdown when I use star power. I like this version of star power better because it doesn't shake the screen when it begins.
 
It doesn't happen all the time, nor is it exclusive to star-power, but that's usually when it happens most. :cry:

i only get slowdown when using lars, and thats who i like to use so its pretty annoying. hes the only one ive noticed with slowdown, do other ones do it or are you using lars?

How about a hilarious metal song done by sum 41. Pain for Pleasure. Its a short song and its awesome. But yea, point me in the direction of the xbox 540

No Coheed but suggesting Sum 41? Are you serious? That's like saying no to Nirvana but yes to Smash Mouth. One has talent in spades, the other wishes they knew the definition of talent.
