Bump...

I was busy digging through my closet looking for stuff for H4Y4TO so I didn't get to log into CAG yesterday but it seems to work today:whistle2:s

most seems to be back to normal again bump (which sucks cuz i don't know what the problem was. process of elimination didn't work out for me).

i'm not sure if my internet provider caused my connection problems with CAG (other websites worked) and PSN (XBL worked fine the whole time), or what the deal was. i switched ethernet cables & places where they are plugged into my router to see if the router could be messed up, but XBL still worked, PSN & CAG didn't, and i did a connection test through my ps3 which said my connection was running at 1.7 megs (normal). very odd. PSN did have 2 updates since then, but others seemed to be having no problems in the U.S. now Raptr won't recognize my PSN account (says invalid username or password). that's been the same for over a year. now PSN doesn't kick me off every 2-3 minutes, but after this latest update (for the length of time controllers will stay on when idle), my ps3 won't recognize my 320gb external hdd now (i've used it almost everyday on my ps3 since i got it). "what a world, what a world," to quote the Wicked Witch of the West, lol.

PSN was having problems for the last several days for a lot of people according to some message boards I've been reading lately. The current PS3 firmware was supposed to fix the problem introduced in the previous firmware with the PS3 having trouble recognizing hard drives but I guess not:roll: Sorry, I've never used Raptr so I don't know what that problem might be. I'm up for that trade you mentioned in my thread, let me know whenever you're ready.

Yeah the avatar was from an image I got from another forum I frequent.

PITA as I forgot all the stuff I have to get! Like that charge and play for my wireless controller, wifi adapter etc. I have midterms this coming week so I haven't been on my 360 in ages! I have been playing bulletstorm and I am ready to hit it up again!

fun games to be had! Forgot how fun Halo was, definitely sad to see that other games don't have the unique game modes that halo does :(

no doubt. that 25 - 24 victory in 2vs2 Arena where you were mopping up suckers w/ the energy sword after i engaged them was sweet (even though i died everytime i engaged them, lol, or we'd have won by a higher margin).

haha, definitely a good game. Looks like my ethernet + laptop setup has failed me! Gonna have to give me a few days before I get back on live, and by that time I will have a mic!

DA2 is really fun, although is it me, I am still in the beginning, but it feels like they were going more for a "fable" feel in gameplay, definitely a lot more watered down than the first dragon age.

Bump...

But the 80s were awesome! No dying malls, plenty of arcades and skating rinks, and things weren't ridiculously expensive. Best of all instead of staring at a screen all day with online friends you could hang out with real people and actually have fun :)

my mom was poor (which knocks out 90% of the good stuff for me), i was an evil child, i hate(ed) the clothes that were in style, i hated skating rinks (which is where everyone hung out), the graphics in video games SUCKED (i couldn't wait for the days when games would be in 3d. i am a huge graphics whore - even before there was a reason to be, lol). the 80's were terrible imho.

I answered one of your posts in my thread and as for the other post...

I wasn't exactly rich but I was always able to earn enough money by mowing or painting to be able to get out and have some fun. Apparently I was good company as a kid since I never lacked for people who wanted to hang out with me, now as I've gotten older I'm much grouchier:oldman: I don't really remember much about the clothes other than wearing jeans or corduroy pants and shirts with wide stripes. I didn't get to pick my clothes until I was in junior high so I didn't really worry about what I was wearing:lol:

Besides Ice rinks and rollerskating rinks I had places like Malibu showboat which had pizza, miniature golf, and all sorts of games. I was also lucky enough to live near places to go fishing, camping, and hiking which I did every vacation. Yeah to be a graphics whore in the 80s would have been bad since the graphics were just barely above the single color screen /moving block level. I usually played board games more than the arcade games since they ate up what little money I had:bomb:
