last movie i saw (which i forgot about even though it's sitting less than 3 feet from me) is Death Proof by Tarantino. it's my least favorite Tarantino flick, but i like it nontheless.

bump.

Hey! I really like those red shoes. If you happen to have the time, would you be interested in PMing me a rough idea of what you would expect for them shipped? Doesn't have to be exact, I am just fine with negotiating. ;)
I can have them shipped within the U.S. as per your trade/sale guidelines, so no worries.

I remember when games didn't have saves and then later you had to use a password to continue from where you last died, now those were some frustrating games

I listed my xbox 360 games in my 2nd post, Yup I was able to get a sealed Alan Wake CE a while ago :D I saw that the DLC is on sale but I'm not sure what the CE came with, I've been trying to get all my 360 games as CE or LE if available.
bedtime bump. doctor in the afternoon tomorrow, too. pray for me, or wish me luck (whatever you do).
will do both. hope all is well.

I loved Deathproof! And, I remember passwords Oldschool. Really annoying writing down those long passwords. I also remember drawing up maps for games like Might & Magic and Zelda.

Finally decided to buy myself a 3DS Cash Card as a birthday present for myself. Even though I now have $20, I haven't bought anything. I'll likely be getting Ocarina of Time from Goozex in the next few weeks, and the only VC game I want is that Zelda game. Don't want to get burned out on one franchise before I get the game I really want from Goozex.

Classic stuff that Metroid is. Get to the best ending, and bam, take off the helmet, and shocker of shocks, it's a woman! Great stuff back in the 80's.

i HATED the 80's. graphics in games, clothing styles, rules, everything about the 80's (except game ideas & gameplay) stunk in my long term memory. we're all wrong sometimes, so don't feel bad, skinkrawl,!

My GOW Collection is boxed in (Unless I force it to run at the max setting on PS3). It is running in 1080p however. I read somewhere about the fact that some HDTV's will experience the issue I am. Not sure why, but just happens with that game and certain TV's.

But, yes 1080p, and pretty sweet looking for what was originally a PS2 title(s).

Haha, we'll have to agree to disagree on that one. The 70s were better than the 80s, but the two decades after that were shite.

I have a slim PS3. Going to check my settings again. There is an option in GOW Collection for "Full Screen". I just never clicked it or noticed it until now.

I'm also looking forward to the Ico/SOTC package, and mainly because I never played Ico, and I never beat SOTC. Both games already look beautiful, so am looking forward to playing them in HD.

I don't think you can be upset at Nintendo right now (maybe for other things) about the price drop. True, it's a lot ($80!), BUT, I think it will cause people to buy it in droves, especially this holiday season, so that can't be all that bad. More gamers, equals the developers will pay more attention to it.

As for the drought of games, nearly every system has had some kind of gaming drought early on in it's life. The PS2 had lackluster games during it's launch, and look at it now.

The price drop was pretty smart of Nintendo, now the PSVita will be $80 more expensive than its rival (the 3DS). Not sure if that is was Nintendo was thinking /if that was the primary reason. At least they are nice enough to offer those early adopters those 10 free games, that's a pretty sweet deal. If it was Sony announcing an $80 price drop, they wouldn't give a crap about early adopters. As much as I like my PS2 and its library of games, Sony as a company leaves much to be desired in the Public-Relations department!

Sony is getting better. I thought they handled that whole PSN debacle pretty well. But, can anyone remember a system getting a price drop, not only that large, but that quickly before?

Didn't the first apple iphone get over $100 price drop within a year of it coming out?

----
also, I read in the Wall Street Journal that Nintendo slashed the price because the system wasn't selling well. That makes more sense, to slash the price to try to increase sales.

Bump...

Thanks, I appreciate the offer but I do have a better camera, it's just on long term loan  I heard about the 3DS price drop but at least you're going to get 20 free games and some are supposed to be exclusive to early adopters. Hopefully now that you can do without the meds you can afford those games you wanted. I hope the doctors are able to figure out what you have soon so that you start feeling better.

Let me know what you think of Syberia DS whenever you get around to playing it, if you like it you can have that game. I still have a brand new sealed DS copy and I just bought it on Steam so I have the PC version again

I have the cheat device for GBA games since that was the cheapest way to play them on the Gamecube at the time  Syberia is a point and click adventure game, if you like those you'll probably like it since it had a great storyline. I have both on the PC and I played them several times in order to find all the neat "hidden" stuff :D

So have you been able to get some rest or are you still feeling badly? Have the doctors decided that you are definitely off the meds for hypokalemia? Keep in touch, I'll TTYl ;)

I think people are taking a chance that they will get the $80 refunded to them by purchasing now and getting the price adjusted later. Granted, some, maybe most will get the price refund, but I wouldn't be surprised if some get shut down completely.
seems like i can change the zip code easily to avoid being taxed on the eshop games, but like you, there's only 1 game i want, and no way i'm giving a credit/bank card number to any place i don't have to.

i bought my OoT 3D from a guy here for 26$ and he had master quest unlocked. i was so grateful, as i have played regular OoT campaign on every platform it's been released on. it is amazing. i'm at the very beginning (1st vist to the Market & finding owner of Lon Lon Ranch on way to castle last night), but i still am amazed at how much they changed in the houses, and the 3D is sweet. you won't regret it (but you already knew that).

thanks for the heads up on the $ card. where did you buy it? no stores i've checked have any yet. best buy had the first pics of the cards so i went there, gamestop, game xchange, walmart, and target, but that was a few days before i posted in your thread before. also, lmk if it charges you tax when you try to buy something. from dealing with psn store, i've learned that oregon doesn't charge taxes on online purchases, so i put an oregon zip code, then switch back to texas when done, lol.

lmk how the gbc zelda is when you get it (and if that's really a chain chomp in the pic on the eshop for that game). take care.
I also changed my zip code to not get charged tax, but I haven't tested this yet.

Awesome about Master Quest. As I've actually never played Ocarina, I'll be in for a treat just getting the game. At the moment, I'm first in line on Goozex.

It may be a while yet before I buy the GBC Zelda. What with the upcoming drop of 20 downloadable games for 3DS Ambassadors, I think I'll be set for a while. :D

Bump for you.

Picked up goldeneye today sealed for 9.99 at gamestop on sale. Traded in a few games thinking i would scrounge up the ten bucks and ended up with thirty in store credit.

Good to hear that you might be off those meds permanently, keep me updated. I know it's hard to do but try not to stress out too much, long term stress can be just as bad for your health as a disease. I've had that exact same problem with the doctors I deal with, they really do need to take a more personal interest in their patients but they have so many it's difficult. If you've never seen it there's a movie called the "the Hospital" with George C. Scott that you might want to check out ;)
