www.achievementjunkie.com has the list of achivements for halo 3 up. It was allegedly taken from xbox.com. I put it in spoilers, due to the fact that level names are revealed.

Again we come to a question…are the Halo 3 achievements real? Numerous sites have posted versions of the rumored achievements for months…all have undergone changes or have been debunked one way or another.
However, Xbox.com…the one-stop shop for official word on everything Xbox ( unless a blog gets it first) have posted the ‘official’ list of achievements for you to ponder over. Note: there are the full names of the campaign levels, so do not read on if you don’t want spoilers…

to me it kind of tastes like mountain dew mixed with some fruit punch.

And ya the achievement list was posted a long ass time ago.
 
Gamestop/EB.com started taking pre-orders for Halo 3 themed 360s.

Maybe I wasn't following the news as closely as I should have been, but man, it really bugs me that it doesn't come with Halo 3. My brother and I are trying to pick a 360 up and was waiting for this, but if it doesn't come with Halo 3, maybe I should reconsider and get a regular instead.
 
Wow at the graphics, they have seemed to clean them up sicne the beta. Or I have been playing more halo 2 and realize how bad those graphics are!
 
I bought Halo 2 today. Firstly, it was a total pain to download all of the maps, which seemed like they took forever, and then I had to go into parrental controls and enable Xbox games, which is default off ( why the hell...?) which was a hassle for me becuase I"m under 18 and had to get my mom's password and stuff. After that, I started Halo. Fun game. I caught on easily. Right now I'm stuck on this part where you have to go down this LONG fucking hallway. Then, you realize that you have no backup and they're all on ghosts. All I have is a plasma rifile. I have NO idea what to do. What I usually do in those situations is sit back and wait for them to come when they get impacient but they're all on ghosts and I have no cover...any tips?

Also, I find the sniper somewhat fun, actually. It is in an all Sniper gane since everyone has equal oppurtunities and it's not like gears where you have to go pick the sniper up and get your head popped immediately. I've noticed online that some people are really good. Even if they are somehow level 1 yet can rack up 13 kills minimum to my lowsy 3.

You're supposed to be riding a ghost yourself.

I don't know if you know that you can carjack the ghosts from them while they are riding them, and take it for yourself.

As for online, Bungie reset the ranks awhile ago. So, some people are back to being low.

But more likely, lots of punk ass kids like to make new gamertags so they have a low rank so they can face people that aren't very good at the game. Or they got banned and had to make a new tag.
 
Two for One Achievement, might be hardest to get(that I looked at). Ive gotten it a few times in my halo2 career, I think once in the h3 beta.

Cant wait, already hyped up to play.

How'd you get a double kill with a laser shot during your Halo 2 career?
 
So now I'm at the arbiter. I thought it would be cool simply becuase I found the name cool. However, it's not. I'm extrmely confused and I hate alien weapons. Gahh.

hmm. Looks like they'll have a page that showcases new weapons. All those are old. Likely on page 14

Also, what about the button to talk? Will it just be auto like Gears? Oh, and the A hole button...wtf ever happened to that?

Also, anyone up for some H2?

Button to talk is up in the air, they say it'll be customized for however people want it. The a hole button was in the beta, I'm sure it'll still be there.
 
Ok. Arbiter is looking up to be the most difficult and not fun part of the game. I didn't have the sword eqipped at a specific part where the huge aliens jump at you and can kill you easily, so I struggled like a bitch. I guess it's Bungie's way of punishing me for not taking it seriously. I picked up a sword me offered to me to cut the chords and then all went down easily. Then, somehow the sword ran out of ammo. Yeah. Ofcourse. Got raped again. I don't even know what the fuck i'm even doing here. I can't wait to get to the part where I can play as Master Chief. I know if I had bought H2 on launch day and had to play as the arbiter for this long, I'd be pissed. Just everything about it. When you're on the ghost, when you're actually inside the ship or whatever, this really annoying part where you have to walk up this hallway that you walked down before but you can't see SHIT because everything is red and black, everything. I hate it all. Infact, I like everything about the arbiter but actually playing his arc.
 
I went to preorder it today and the employees were stupid (CC). It actually took like 7mins for them to finally give me the receipt..at one point the guy asked me "You're getting this for the 360 right"? I swear I should of said "No for the Wii please".
 
i cant wait for this damn game, i had a 12 person h2 lan party last night, i need h3.
im really looking forward to the customization, should be some really fun variants.
 
Hmm, I'm half way through the fight at this point. Pretty good storymode. Didn't give Arbiter it's credit, I was just frustraited. Snipers in MP are really starting to piss me off. I wish I had a way to punch the 20 kill sniper in the face over the internet.

i like to think of it as fruit punch, with mountain dew mixed in.
 
I can't believe there's only a month left until this series is OVER. And with only a month left, I probably won't even have the cash to afford finishing this fight.
 
It kinda tasted like a mixture of crap i used to make when i was a little kid. Kinda tastes like MW, Cough suryp, and a cherry. But oddly, really good. at least to Me...
 
I can't seem to find Gamefuel any where. Has any one on the Cincinnati area been able to buy some and where?

Pretty interesting. I'm a huge fan of the Halo canon and I can't really tell what it is. If I had to hazard a guess, they're old Forerunner messages.
