Greetings from the future that is 2008.
I had a thrilling new years eve which consisted of eating a $35 Dominos pizza, drinking 3 glasses of Coke, watching K-1 Dynamite on TV, and taking a bath.

BEAT THAT!


Anyway, I just wanted to thank everyone for a great 2007. 2008 will hold many great changes for CAG. I'm looking forward to exceeding all your expectations with with CAG 2.0!

Hope your new years eve is more exciting that mine was. What do you have planned?

We are heading out to Detroit area Casino's (MGM, etc) with 15 or so friends, didn't plan on renting a room originally, but now I hear theres a nice sized winter snow storm heading our way. I am sure some will not have a fun drive home. Oh well sucks for them.

Since you're in the future, can you tell us if the 360 is winning over there yet?

EDIT: I just finished cleaning the house for our party tonight, got Wrestlemania 5 playing in my 360 (just found out today that the 360 will play region free PAL-formatted DVDs, while the PS3 can't/won't). Going to have some lunch and figure out what to do with the two (!) replacement Rock Band guitars EA sent me. So, a helluva way to end 2007.
 
The fuck does a pizza have on it to be worth $35? Did it come with a free BJ or something?

Tonight my girl and I will be hostin a small get together at our place. Nothing very exciting at all really. TO be honest, I'm more exited about having the day off tomorrow so instead of sitting at work and thinking about Mass Effect I'll be able to play it all day tomorrow.

Anyway Happy New Year everybody, light off some fireworks and remember, especially today, that tomorrow may never come so live for today!

I guess this is the Happy New Year CAG thread that I'll just say I wish a very happy and prosperous new year to all the CAGs out there, even to those that I sometimes nettle or disagree with (happy new year scorch! may you find many more of my double postings or duplicate threads! ;) :lol:)
 
I having nothing planned for tonight. I'm currently sitting alone at my computer :whistle2:(

I would be playing CoD4, but the damn XBL problems keep interfering.

I can beat that Cheapy--me and the girl are both just chillin' out sick tonight, me getting over it and her coming down wit' it. And no, I'm not talking slang, my damn nos' is stuffffed up... that $35 pizza sounds pretty good though...

The Wife and I ducked out of a New Year's dinner filled with very... snobby former LA people.

We ordered pizza, chicken wings, etc and are happily gaming at home, then we'll *sighs* catch up with the snobs tomorrow morning.

Anyway, I want to sincerely thank everyone here at CAG that has helped me with deals, issues, game advice, or simply been a pleasure to interact with.

This is a great gaming community, and due to it and things like Child's Play, I'm less /embarrassed/ to be a gamer.

Happy New Year. Took my wife to Walmart so she could get first pick at the 75% off the Christmas items (which she loves to shop for). Found a gang of thugs in the Walmart lighting fireworks causing the cops to come and the Walmart being shut down.....Then dodging drunk drivers on the way home wasn't an easy task either.

Today also marks my two year anniversary as a registered user on CAG......before that I lurked for a year or so....

In a (somewhat) related note, during the broadcast in Seattle they had a bunch of guys propose to their girlfriends. One of the guys was a buddy of mine I went to college with back in North Carolina who also ended up back in Seattle after college. Small world, huh?

my night was spent falling asleep playing 'Peggle' on my iPod on the couch at 10pm at a friends house while 20 other people were having fun!
 
My New Years Eve consisted of: just me and my boyfriend, cranberry vodkas, and that show The Whitest Kids You Know on IFC. We didnt do anything spectacular or even watch the ball drop It was my best New Years ever :)
 
Here's to a great year of gaming filled with more downloadable content, Super Smash, Metal Gear Solid 4 and many other games.
 
Happy new year! Spent the night playing rockband with a group of people and having some beers. Almost forgot to watch the ball drop in times square. Was having too much fun.
