Have you seen Watchmen? If so, help me out!*SPOILERS*

Rorschach is extremely, extremely conservative. Throughout the story, he conveys many anti-liberal sentiments.

As far as why Rorschach left his journal, he did it because knowing Adrian was behind the plot, it was likely he and Night Owl would not be returning, considering Veidt was a superior fighter to them both.

And no, in the movie, they never really explain how the Comedian found out about Adrian's plans.

Well i guess they wouldn't in the movie, since there wasn't a creature, but then i guess it would have been him finding out about Ozzy's general plan. I don't remember it in the novel either. When do they finally explain how Comedian found out about it in the novel?

Yeah, I think in the film they were just leaving it up to the audience to say, "Well, he worked for the government and had connections. He must have just stumbled upon something."

In the book, when he is spilling his guts to Jacobi, he mentions how, if he hadn't looked out the window of the airship, he would have never seen the island.

In the movie didn't they say the comedian was in on Adrian's plan? But then when it came close to happening he couldn't take it and wanted to bow out?

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but two of the actors from the sci-fi show Eureka were in this, Matt Frewer was Moloch and Chris Gauthier was Seymour, the guy who finds Rorschach's journal at the end.

Heh, I didn't know his name, but when I saw him I was like "DUDE! It's the guy from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!"
How was Rorschach crazy? Unshakable conviction to the right thing isn't a mental defect.
Dropping people down elevator shafts and taking cleavers to heads would be considered antisocial at the least.

Finally got to see it over the weekend and no blue penis for me, left my eyes at home. Never even heard about The Watchmen until the first trailer went live and when I found out Zack Snyder was behind this I knew it had to be my one must-see movie in theaters of 2009 and ZC sure knows how to make a ticket stretch - though I don't know if it'll hold up to constant playback like Dawn of the Dead and 300, but I hear the directors cut is hitting the 3 hour mark so that's good. I'm sure that lightning tiger thing was something for the fans of the "graphic noval" to ogle over, but it was lost on me and what was with the emphesis on the red electric car - just saying they solved the energy crisis or what? I understand everything else [kinda].
