Hello, OTT.

I like how Amazang sends you small items in really large, unnecessary boxes sometimes. :D
xthaxicutionerx
Isn't there a power switch on the back or is that just on the PS3's Strat guitar?
Nope...I believe that's just the PS3.

From Joystiq.

Amid complaints of price gouging over the new broadband pricing structure its been testing out in select U.S. cities, Time Warner Cable has announced two new tiers for users with varying internet consumption habits. First, for just $15, you can sign yourself up for a 1GB per month contract, which will ... oh, come on. None of you use under 1GB a month. That's ridiculous. It takes more than 1GB to view our front page, due to our extreme high-def JPEGs.

The other tier of interest is the 100GB plan, which runs users $75 dollars a month. Each additional gigglebyte over that will cost $1, though Time Warner plans on placing a $75 cap on overage fees. Basically, for $150, you get unlimited high-speed internet. A hundy-and-a-half? Man, that's pocket change for us media maven types. We make $150 for every sentence in our posts. Which is good. Money, we mean. We like it. It's great. (Ka-ching!)

Then it's probably broken.

What's the other side of the story, rabbitt? I can't imagine that he couldn't have avoided an accident going 5-10 MPH.

This can't be right... I installed that NetWorx program and I decided to load up one $ minute long SD youtube video, and it says that I downloaded almost 1GB of data.

CAG needs to steal Slickdeal's gimmick and have a front page that's worth a shit. All he'd need to do was give front page powers to select mods.
Sorry about that, y'all.
Kinda thought I was as 'smart' as Mojimbo for a second.

This gimmick is sort of painful.
It really is.

Wow... now I just loaded up another 4 minute video can YouTube and my total went from 2.34GBs to 7.05GBs. Something must be screwed up.

I haven't seen the CAG front page for months. It's useless.

Budge, are you doing something in the background? I just dl'ed the program because it sounds useful and I loaded up a 5 minute Youtube vid and it's only at 12.4mb.

Nope.

All I had running was Firefox with that one tab open and AIM. But I am using the Windows 7 beta, so maybe that is part of the problem.

did close to 6 miles at the gym today. came home and worked in the yard for a bit. now it's most definitely beer o'clock.

Yup, something is messing it up for me.

I just started up that little toolbar where it shows me in real time how much bandwidth is being used. Occasionally for a second it will jump to like 500MB per sec, which is well, impossible. But only a few of those seconds over a 4 minute period would really rack up the bandwidth.

Brak, did you see this?

People at NeoGAF are making video game covers in the same vein as The Criterion Collection. While most of the cover choices aren't what I would choose, it's an interesting idea.

Damn. I really wish guys did these in high-res so I could take them somewhere and get them printed on nice photo paper. I'd love to replace some of my game cases with these.

Edit: Shit, thanks zew. I found the hr front cover but not that one.

I totally need to take this to Kinko's or some shit.

I was way too drunk last night and woke up to see that my car has a flat tire. I must have run something over earlier because it's been in the same spot for nearly 24 hours now. I did manage to go bar hopping though for the second time in my life.

I think the Killer 7 one is the best so far. :D

A full cover art project like that one for the DC/GBA would be awesome. Photoshop is wonderful.

Yeah, it really would.

Good idea, needs better execution:

This one is good, I just think the "i" using the spine wouldn't work in reality, but I may be wrong.

Has this idea ever been employed elsewhere (I know SomethingAwful has Photoshop threads)?

I love this, but not enough HR. That Bioshock one Budge posted is great.

Yeah, I would love High-Res front and back versions of that Bioshock cover and Mirror's Edge cover.

I wish you could play the drums part in GH:Metallica on a controller or something. All I need is to beat that career for the Lars/Metallica achievements. :(

Ah. Thanks.

Can you plug a flash drive into one of those Kodak photo kiosks, or do those only no photo size prints? I have photo paper but an inkjet printer wouldn't make as nice an image as a professional place would.
