Hell's Kitchen Season 6 - Fin

Holy fuck, I'm totally watching this.

I was wondering why Jimmie disappeared for a while (since, in my opinion, every thread "needs more JimmieMac"). I really hope that he does/did well.

JimmieMac is seen as douche because he's honest around these boards. I've enjoyed his antics and cooking tips that he would occasionally post in the OT forum so I'll be rooting for him (even if it was already filmed/decided).
If he's smart he likely won't be doing any kind of back talk. That doesn't tend to get you very far with Ramsay.
Yep. And if you watch the clip posted so far when Jimmie fucks up the scallop plate (wasn't even a big fuck up, accidentally put 4 on there instead of 6), Jimmie does not back talk at all to Ramsay, doesn't even seem upset, realizes he screwed up, and he owns up to it. If he keeps up with that attitude he should go far in the competition.

That's what I was thinking, too, but I'm not sure how Hell's Kitchen works. If people are voted off by their team or something, then he'll have to keep a low profile in that regard in addition to remaining in Ramsay's good graces. And from what I've seen, Jimmie doesn't exactly have a "low profile" personality.

By the way, Jimmie's New Hampshire accent is fucking terrific. "Gwah-don Ramsay". I love that.

In the morning there's a team vs team competition. The winning team gets rewarded with some crazy prize and the losing team works all day .. usually cleaning up the restaurant. And then that night they have a full dinner service as a restaurant where the two teams compete again. They base who wins on who gets their dishes out the fastest while screwing up the least. The team that loses generally has to choose 1 to 2 people they want to get rid of. So basically, unless Jimmie is a major asshole to his teammates or he screws up a lot he should be able to make it pretty far.
Even if you don't like him, he did manage to get onto a show that requires some semblance of skill unlike more than a few other shows out there. That's worth something at least.
Not all of them are talented. The first few that are cut are laughably terrible compared to the skills of the last 4-6 contestants.

Jimmie might be there as comic relief for an episode or two.

The people that can't cook are sent home by Ramsey.

HK isn't like Survivor when everybody can gang up on you and send you packing.

You have to screw up in the kitchen worse than everybody else consistently in the eyes of Ramsey.

^ I dunno. I still go with my feeling that Jim(mie) is far smarter than he is brash; y'all are acting like he's gonna be a ham, a loudmouth, or a fuckup.

I expect absolutely none of those things.

Just to further clarify... the "best of the worst" contestant on the losing team will nominate two teammates for elimination, and then Gordon himself will choose who gets sent home.

[IMG-R=5198]8287[/IMG-R]Love him or hate him, JimmieMac has been mixing it up on CAG since 2003. He even won the "Most Memorable CAG Villain" 2007 Cheapy Award.

I'm very excited to alert the CAG community that Jimmie is appearing as a contestant on Season 6 of Hell's Kitchen, which premieres tonight on Fox at 8pm Eastern. I'll definitely be watching and cheering him on!

Man, Jimmie is a dick on CAG. But, so is everyone on the internets. Can't wait to watch this, at least I have someone to root for. I'll probably not watch after he gets kicked...

If I was accepted on this show as a contestant, I'd feel pretty bad for myself. It's like they visit a bus station, ask if anyone wants to be a chef, and then hand them a jacket. Then they throw in a couple of veterans who seem too tired to go on in the industry so there's some experience in the cast. Then they film them and edit it in typical Fox fashion, which means they make everyone look like a complete douchebag.
Is anyone going to be recording this? I won't be around and I don't want to miss it!
It's Fox, so as long as you're around after week 4 or 5 you should be able to catch it on Hulu.

You should be able to catch it on Hulu or Fox.com. Good luck Jimmie!!

Haha, good luck JimmieMac. I might check this out on Hulu if the JimmieMac from years past shows up and becomes a total ass all the other contestants.
there was a CAG on Beauty and the Geek?!?
I bet everyone on that show was at least a lurker. Well, on the geek side at least.

Do they not post Hell's Kitchen episodes to Hulu or Fox until 4-5 weeks after the episode airs?? I was really hoping to watch this online tomorrow.

They put them on the day after, but they only have 4-5 episodes on at a time. So if someone is unable to watch for the next few weeks, they'd have to catch up then, before episode one gets removed.

First to call him getting tossed off the show for trying to dry hump every female contestant. Better hope none of them are alleged porn stars.

Most everyone is a dick on CAG.

Have you seen the people they have on Hell's Kitchen before?

I'm sitting here laughing because I know it's either gonna be funny as hell or definitely worth seeing a CAG villain in action.

I have it on good authority that Jimmiemac punches one of his teammates, maybe two.
well i wasnt going to bring it up but the reason i never cared for him was because he like late term abortions and watches keith olberman every night.
I'm almost positive you're thinking of the wrong person.
Too bad Jimmie can't speak that eloquently when he's on the CAGcast .
No one brings their "A" game to the CAGcast.

I hope he punches somebody :p

I also hope he will post on CAG if we make a dedicated thread on how he's doing on the show
hopefully he'll keep his sass and really stand out

Wonder how long he was in make up?
Most everyone is a dick on CAG.
Everyone is a dick on CAG. I can't wait until Gordo makes this little bitch cry. This will be a great season.

Bah. I'll be working tonight. And for some reason, FOX Mobile doesn't air it like some of the other mobile networks (I've got that Flo TV from AT&T.)

I'll probably have to Hulu it. I don't know Jimmie that particularly well, save for his short stint on the NHL CAG team and a game of WSOP with him and Cheapy.

Good luck, anyways!

No dice for me.

Im one of those that lives in the middle of nowhere, cant afford satellite etc etc..and rely on "DTV" signals.

Since the official switch from analog to digital, my local Fox station didnt even have their f'n antenna for the digital signal up and going yet. So since the switch I havent had fox and according to the local Fox stations site, its not gonna happen soon so Im SOL and will have to resort to finding a download of the show.

A message board user on tv? Get ready to hear this alot: "mumble mumble mumble". Hopefully they can hook Gordon up with a computer so jimmiemac can really lay into him.

But seriously, I do wish him luck. You've gotta be a real talented, likeable guy to be on a FOX reality show(or any network for that matter), so I'm sure he'll fit right in. I hope he doesn't forget his lines.

Keep an eye out next season for cheapyd on "so you think you can dance"

Congrats JM...regardless of how he acts on the forums, it's still an accomplishment.

Was wondering why he wasn't posting on the forums for so long.

I am curious how much humble pie Chef Ramsay will make him eat. :p

Haha! That girl made margarita french toast! Even better is the sausage and gravy over biscuits. Man, shouldn't people know to bring their culinary A game to this?

I remember this being discussed on the podcast a few weeks back. Glad Jimmie was identified with the picture, now even more a reason to watch.

put me down as a "hate him" maybe I'll watch to root for everyone else. I hope he gets eliminated first! Hope he plain embarrasses himself on this crappy show. I'm sure they chose him because of his polarizing personality and not for his culinary skill, he's probably round one fodder.

Last season was actually my first season watching HK. After that I rented the first season on Netflix (finished it last night, oddly enough). Hearing Ramsay uncensored on DVD was a hoot! I was bummed to find out that the other seasons aren't on DVD in here the states, but at least there's a new season to look forward to now. Probably won't be around tonight but I'll definitely catch a recording ASAP!

I haven't watch Hell's Kitchen since the first season but I'll watch this one for Jimmie. Please have some kind of yelling match, please.

This is great, gives me the first reason to watch this show.
I remember how JimmieMac lambasted all of us that tried to keep the "Cheap Ass Cooking" thread going last year.
What goes around comes around? I guess we'll find out!
