Holy Crap! Just got back from Best Buy...

They had a table with some huge clearance games. I left with Matrix: Path of Neo for $7.50, but there was more. The ones I remember were:
Matrix: Path of Neo PS2 $7.50
The Warriors PS2 $12.50
True Crimes: Streets of NY Collector's Edition XBOX $7.50
Midways Arcade Treasures 3 XBOX $3.75
Fantastic Four PS2 $5.00
Eye Toy Play 2 or Kinetic (with camera) PS2 $7.50
Campcom Fighting Classics (or something like that) PS2 $7.50
some Metal Slug collection for XBOX $10.00
Full Auto Faceplate XBOX360 $1.25
Gameboy Micro Value Pack $1.25

There was more but I don't remember what they were...

I can prove its YMMV simply because The Warriors is still $49.99 on the website, and the website almost always matches the B&M.
 
Multiply everything by 4 to get the nationwide BBY price. These clearance deals are at the discertion of each individual Best Buy. My local best buy has a couple of titles on clearance like this but the prices are pretty crappy. For example, they had Metroid Prime Pinball on clearance for $17.99 but I didn't mention it at checkout because it would have voided my $5 GGC Coupon.
 
The only ones that weren't a total waste were Capcom Classics Collection and Metal Slug 4 & 5... though that Metal Slug game is being completely replaced by Metal Slug Collection this fall so even that's not worth much.
 
I saw two copies of Resident Evil (GC) for $14.99 at my nearest Best Buy. I was tempted to pick it up new, but I'll just buy one in shitty condition during the b2g1 sale..

Uh, I'd be all over that EyeToy Play 2 with Camera for $7.50! Are you kidding? I had been considering dropping $50 of GR credit on that to get it. But perhaps I ought to wait - it will probably get clearanced elsewhere eventually.
 
I went to the best buy in waco tx. They had one big wall set aside with games and one of the workers said every game in that section was 25% off the price it rang up. They were trying to clear out a bunch of old stuff etc etc.
 
For example-
Sprung DS 1.99-1.49 after 25% off
Ping Pals DS same as Sprung

Harvest Moon: More Friends etc
9.99-7.49 after 25% off.

The thing was you had to get a invoice type thing from someone working in the game dept to verify the games you picked came from the section of stuff they are trying to move. When you take it up they do the discount there.
 
All the games on a separate clearance table with yellow stickers are always YMMV as someone mentioned. And yes the cashier has to get an override code to manually enter the price. I know, I have bought clearance items plenty of times. BB knows me.....

That Metal Slug Collection is only being released on the PSP. It's not coming to Xbox (or PS2).

i would've needed new pants if I found that Full Auto faceplate, Metal Slug collection and Path of Neo for those prices.

I would've picked up TC: NYC CE just for the case..
 
really i was just in the nashua,Nh best buy and saw the path of neo for 30 bucks. But for 7.50 i might have to make a drive there
 
BB in Baltimore, Maryland a table similar to this. The only thing I saw was Darkwatch Xbox for $15 and Dead or Alive Ultimate Xbox $15. There were more, but I can't remember. I do remember most prices being 50% off the regular price.

I thought it was normally $20. I got it for $7.50 used at Hollywood video and when i checked the ebay prices for it they seemed kind of low.

My local Best Buy's still got it for $50, as do the local CC and Walmart.

I tried to get a copy when BB had it on sale for $40, but they were sold out and the raincheck line was like 20 deep.
 
I was back in today and picked up Warriors. They had added the new Prince of Persia Gamecube game for $12.50. Anyone fairly close, it's definatley worth the drive.

A lot of people have been asking me to pick stuff up for them. I'd be willing to work out deals, but I can't get back there till Monday. Hopefully they'll still have some stuff, because people don't seem to be catching on to this sale. I'll try to scan my receipts so people know this isn't an April Fool's joke.

are those all the games or were there more (ps2, psp, gba in particular) that you did not buy and did not bother to list?

I think that was pretty much it. No PSP or GBA games, but there were some accessory kits for both at like $1.25.
