Hooray, I finally maxed out GGT #33's Social Link!
What is with all the UT3 love all of a sudden? Well, if it's only $4 @ GS and y'all are willing to play late nights, then I'd be down for that...

Actually I have UT3 for Mac already...anybody play on Mac or PC?
didn't realize there was a mac version...though my 2008 aluminum probably wouldn't do so hot with it.

yeah, it's $4, that's why. It's also a solid deathmatch twitch FPS though. You could do much worse, like all the generic FPS that have been coming out these days that Jer likes.

i'm addin' yalls.

hank-- you'll probably beat me in SSFIV. I'm pretty bad and haven't made much of an attempt to learn the deeper game.

I'm the worst :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

you put up a good fight in the few matches that we played. I had been playing the game very frequently at that point. whereas now I only get a few hours to play on the weekends and maybe a bit of time after school.

add me too, mames.
New bayonetta?
I doubt it'd be a sequel so soon... but I'd be up for a special edition that adds some new shit... and on PC this time plz ?
Has anything after KH2 actually sold well? I thought 21903482095/asde413232*9043270 days bombed?
I'm not going to touch any more KH games until KH3 drops. And even, then, I'll be cautious. KH2 ruined what could've been fantastic.

Finally getting back into Mass Effect since I'd like to get to what seems like a much better game in ME2 and it's not going to be a pretty playthrough. Blurry visuals, elevators, Mako, inventory problems, and not being able to view the journal on the galaxy map for side quests will be a great test to finish it. I like the way they have quests appear as people confronting you on the Citadel (TV interview, fans, and others) and having some nice conversations between Garrus and Wrex while in elevators and other parts of the Citadel was a nice surprise. I apparently missed a side quest about "collecting" all of the weird keepers around the Citadel that annoys me since they serve no purpose outside of that.
Jer, you getting the PS Move?
lol no

i could get UT3. I have it on steam already though. I can't see playing it more than once.

Singularity was not nearly as generic as UT3. That game actually had somewhat unique multiplayer with the humans vs monsters thing. Derivative of Left 4 Dead, but I thought it was easier to get into than left 4 dead's vs mode.
New bayonetta?
If they redo the PS3 version, they might as well consider it a new bayonetta.
add me too, mames.
added ya

I'm psyched for this Bayonetta news. Would be sweet if a fixed PS3 version were somehow involved. If it's a sequel, I hope both versions are on par with each other.

Is MamesJAY the only person here to play both?

The problem with UT3 was that epic essentially made it a tech demo for the unreal engine. and the setup felt alot like a port hackjob with strange menu system and poor community integration.

well, it is a pretty bad port. I play it with a little more button mashing because the frame rate is just not good (so it's harder to time stuff with choppy animation frames.) It's really really noticeable with witchtime dodges. but i'm a freak for the game...

now, if they could release a version with the motorcycle and afterburner levels taken out, THAT would be kick ass. I haven't beaten the PS3 version on normal yet because I'm dreading the afterburner stage
_<

I didn't have time to hit GS today, and not sure I'll have time tonight before they close...ah wells.

I've beaten both versions of Bayonetta; I'd say my opinion is valid tyvm.
PS3 is the lead platform for Vanquish?
Yes.

thread inspired me to play moe (typo, but i'm keeping it) bayonetta tonight.

the golden claw guys are fucking hard at 15fps. but I just got enough to get the Moon of Kahalakjdlfjh, so I can get my parry on. and the kilgores, so i can get my exploit on.

not that kind of moe!!!

how about leggy mature buxom glasses witch? ENTIRE DVD SECTIONS IN JAPAN DEVOTED TO THIS GENRE!!! THEY WATCH EM IN CLASS!!!!

Oh yeah, almost forgot.
I beat GoW II, it was definitely better than the first. I enjoyed the "epic"-ness of it a lot. Pretty impressive for a PS2 game, looked fantastic on PS3. Story was cool, I've always liked the Titan side of it.

Time for III, or should I play the PSP one first?
Feels nice to finish games again.

Can't wait for more of these HD re-releases.

3 is pretty good, def the best in the series

so is chains of olympus. CoO is very short.

just ordered some PS3 triggers with extra amazon credit. figured they're worth a shot, with all the praise they get. anyone else got these?

I was thinking about getting the Ghost of Sparta PSP bundle since it has both Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta with the system and some other stuff, but seeing the PSP that comes with it kind of negates that idea.

I got them, they make the triggers easier to use and hit. They give you a nice spot to actually rest your fingers. They don't really change the feeling of them though, just the shape. For $5, I can recommend.

Can't imagine playing on a PS3 controller without them now.

There's some games that feel better without the triggers, but very few. I pretty much always have them on.

That SCII mod is amazing.
Ummm... PBR was America's Best in 1893.
Compared to moonshine made in a rusted out bathtub, hell yeah PBR was America's Best in 1893. But 1893 was a long time ago.

Still better than Blatz though.

Game time today, SSFIV random challenge, Mass Effect 2, and Job Search 2010. Should be a fun day.

grr.. the Bioshock SDCC figure on Amazon that I ordered immediately went into backorder and they don't know if/when it'll be in stock.. but it's available from 3rd party sellers for double the price! sigh.

I keep getting interrupted in my free time by work these past couple weeks. By the time I'm done or come home, I'm too tired to play anything. :(

Sometimes being in IT sucks ass.

I thought the online might be good though, seeing as DICE are doing it.

I liked the PS1 MoH games, they armed Alsatians were classic.

Yeah, same here. I preordered it immediately and mine is backordered too. I doubt they'll ever come in stock. I don't know why amazon even bothers listing this sort of thing if they aren't going to be getting any.
