Hori Fighting Stick 3 (PS3) In-stock

Thanks for the update. Shipping is around 10 bucks, so the total for me is 60. I think I will wait on a stick though....just have to tough it out.
I was looking around for one of these and I found out that Microcenter has them too.
http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0256628

I personally ordered from them after SFHD came out since amazon was sold out. I trust them, and if you're lucky they'll have in a store near you for in-store pick-up.
Gah, I feel like an idiot, even next day would have been cheaper than the one from VGA.com.

Well, you live and you learn.

Boooo to microcenter. Just got an e-mail saying they "thought" they could ship right away but have to backorder.

Slightly expensive now, Will wait till price drops.

I apologize for the slight mis-direction guys...I had a better experience with them last time concerning inventory.

Novatorian, now you don't have to feel so bad =)

Heh, I guess not.

Thanks for the original update though, that site seems to have a lot of things that are out of stock here, in stock there.
ordered one yesterday and got an out of stock email today.
Ebay has a lot of these with the starting bid of $45.99. No one actually bids on them because everyone prefers the 360 hori stick.

pricy, I picked one up at gamestop for 39.99 a while back, was about to grab another at 29.99 but all gone....

This is easy to get off ebay at 60 bucks shipped or under if you are patient . The 360 one is the one that skyrocketed to 110-120 now.

Eh, this seems like an entry level stick to me.

Keep in mind the stick is square-gated and it sounds like the buttons are soldered onto the PCB, so dropping in Sanwa is a chore. If that doesn't bother you, it's an ok buy for the average guy.

No offense as I'm just trying to keep it real and all, but most people fall into the "average guy" category...myself included. I think this is a great stick...especially for the price. SFIV is bringing in a lot of new people and $150+ (+ is for customs like arcadeinabox) is a bit much for them. If you fit into this category, then I would definitely consider this joystick as it is an entry level stick. There's no shame in that. You can always buy the more expensive joysticks later, and hand this one to another fellow gamer starting to play SFIV.

I'm sure that if I tried out the MadCatz SFIV TE sticks or the HRAP3, I would probably notice a difference. However, I'm just not sure if I'll play any better. It's like buying a Nissan GT-R vs. a 370Z. You can probably notice a difference, but will an average drive like myself be that much better at racing because of it?

All I'm saying is that this isn't a bad stick...so unless you seriously have issues with it (non-Sanwa parts, small size, low weight, mod unfriendly), pick it up. You can spend the $100 (or more) on other things like KoFXII, Tekken 6, SFHD, etc.

end of rant.

I just like to add
I never played with a arcade stick before and this is my first. Its was hard to start but you'll get use to it. The buttons feel fine and the stick does the job.
I like to repeat what ^^ said about even if you get a expensive ass stick, it does not mean your going to be a 150$ better.. Lol
Hori FS3 is the economical stick. Madcatz SE, I would recommend but chances of finding one in retail price is 1-100000000. Madcatz SE is only better because if you do get into it, the stick is more mod friendly.

They're back ordered on Amazon for 1 - 2 months. They're on the Marketplace starting at $58.95 + shipping.

Which is the majority of the Street Fighter IV players.

Hori have been making top notch arcade sticks for a while. Granted, they've been pretty much the only maker, but I've always heard great things about them.
