Horror remakes that could work
Your thinking of the wrong Jack Frost. There was a horror movie back in 96 called Jack Frost, about a serial killer who's soul gets trapped in a snowman. They even made a sequel in 2000. Needless to say, they were more funny than scary. I really dont think its worth remaking as the basis was pretty much a ripoff of every other 'soul enhabits some stupid object' movie.

Yes, I know what Jack Frost is. I was attempting (and apparently failing) at some comedy.

It really threw me for a loop when they announced the Michael Keaton version though, because at first I thought they were trying to market the horror movie as a family movie. Or maybe that's just what I had hoped they were doing. :)
If I'm not mistaken, thats the first movie I ever saw with a lenticular cover. When you held it at one angle it looked like a regular snowman but if you moved it, it was a weird face. (unless I'm thinking of the other Jack Frost)
No, you're correct.

First one I saw was the Independence Day cover.
they are making a day of the dead remake....

and nick canon is in it :(
I have no idea who Nick Canon is but that's a good name for a Gay male porn star.

He's basically a black kid who started out doing shitty shows on Nickelodeon, and like every other shitty kid-show actor, be came a rapper/singer.

Speaking of bad shows on Nickelodeon, whens Goodburger 2 coming out, lol.
I read a few articles stating that people are thinking of remaking the Thing (the John Carpenter version). In a way, that makes sense.

Still, I think they should remake bad films and try to improve on them. Just my 2 cents..
Don't think it was a remake they planned, more like a sequil....I mean, The Thing is one of the great examples of an absolutely fantastic remake of an already really-good original movie from the 50's.

I think they were talking about a Thing movie where its, like, some other group of scientists who discover a "thing" or..something along those lines.
