Your thinking of the wrong Jack Frost. There was a horror movie back in 96 called Jack Frost, about a serial killer who's soul gets trapped in a snowman. They even made a sequel in 2000. Needless to say, they were more funny than scary. I really dont think its worth remaking as the basis was pretty much a ripoff of every other 'soul enhabits some stupid object' movie.

Yes, I know what Jack Frost is. I was attempting (and apparently failing) at some comedy.
It really threw me for a loop when they announced the Michael Keaton version though, because at first I thought they were trying to market the horror movie as a family movie. Or maybe that's just what I had hoped they were doing.
If I'm not mistaken, thats the first movie I ever saw with a lenticular cover. When you held it at one angle it looked like a regular snowman but if you moved it, it was a weird face. (unless I'm thinking of the other Jack Frost)
No, you're correct.
First one I saw was the Independence Day cover.
