I would go with Drake for his normalness, but then again I'm not into guys so I have no idea what people would find attractive in them (asides from what they find attractive in me)

Drake is alright, I like his humor a lot, so in that sense he is kind of like Joker.
I think perhaps we should make this a slightly more insightful discussion, since we all know over in the Hottest Female Video Game Character thread they are probably posting pictures of female characters in bikinis and drooling by now.
For Joker I like his humor a lot, and it really depresses me that as a female or male Shepard in ME2 I can't start a relationship with him. Instead I'm stuck with Jacob |, Garrus :???:, and I'm sure a romance option for ME3 will be James Vega.
Flynn is just really cute, and I love his sense of justice. I guess I have a thing for that knight in shining armor type of guy. Plus who hasn't contemplating what might be going on between Yuri and Flynn behind closed doors...
Teddie, well he is one of the hottest male game characters ever, IMO. I mean he's cute as a guy, cute as a girl, and even in his normal form he's cute (in a different way). Plus, he's silly, and in case it wasn't obvious I really like that.

But female Shepard can romance Thane! And Thane is awesome!
Gonna go with Basch from Final Fantasy XII... dude is a badass.
Even though I'm not much of a fan of FFXII, I'll agree Basch wasn't bad, although to be honest Balthier was probably better, he had that whole mysterious suave pirate thing going on.

Thane is an interesting character, but well I wouldn't really call him cute or hot, haha. If he looked more human I'd probably be interested.
I think it is really the eyes, if he looked more like this concept he wouldn't creep me out as much:

As a dude, I'd have to agree. Drake basically made me realize how women must feel when they come across a normal female character like Alyx or Samus after having to sit through Lara, Ivy or Tifa.
No hottest FEMALES, that's a whole 'nuther thread.
It was a whole 'nother thread, until it devolved into traps and pedobear stuff after like one page.
Every single guy in the Hakuoki Demon of the Fleeting Blossomgame!
It's a dating sim for the PSP where you're a chick and it's your job to set your sights on a man and make him yours.
I mean really, can anything else compare?
^ My fav~
Oh, that game does have a lot of cute guys! I heard about it just recently and looked into it, and I'm fairly interested to get it and play it.
The only other Otome game I've played was Princess Debut which is a rhythm game and dating game hybrid, the rhythm part wasn't bad (but wasn't all that challenging) and the dating part was fun. We don't get very many of these types of guy dating games in America which is why I'm really interested in the Hakuoki Demon of the Fleeting Blossom.
No idea. I never even throught about it, as I am a straight male.

Yep, if you really want to post about FEMALES you can go post in Hottest Female Video Game Character thread. Also, Ryuukishi forgot to mention the yaoi that's in that thread as well, haha.
There's even a picture where you can see part of Cloud's package if you look closely.
Is that Teddie thing a spoiler? I haven't played P4 yet -_-
Sorry.
In my defense though, the game is getting older at this point, and any image search for Teddie and Persona 4 will probably turn up a bunch of pictures of him in his human form. If you looked through the artbook which you could buy separately (along with the Teddie plush and calendar) which I did right when the game came out, you'd have seen him in his human form as well.
Sorry, the right answer is Gabranth
And yeah, I'll admit that a large part of that's the armor. I love that armor. He is good looking, though.
I mean him and Basch are twin brothers (and nobody better cry spoilers on this one, it is explained basically right around when you meet Basch which isn't very far into the game), so I mean it basically has to be the armor (but I don't blame you, he is by far one of the coolest characters in that game based solely on that armor) (although I guess their hair is a little different).

Well, when you had the pic of him in your sig, I had no idea who it was other than a Persona character. Anyway, it's all good. It's kind of shitty being a spoilerphobe on the Internet to begin with.
(although I guess their hair is a little different)
He's less scruffy overall. Between that and the armor, I'd take Gabranth over Basch any time.
Oh, also, honorable mention - Ezio Auditore di Firenze (why are there no decent screenshots of this guy without his hood on ?):
I think I want to change my vote... I just played the Operation Babe Hunt section in Persona 3 and now I have a mancrush on Akihiko. "Oh, um, yeah, I like the ocean too."
Nier, he's rugged & manly, devoted father, he's helpful & kind. Plus he's got skillz, he can garden, fish, hunt, and kick the snot out of your crossdressing JRPG girly boys. Plus he'll eat the disgusting food his daughter makes for him and do it with a smile. That's a man.
Reno, he's easygoing and a total bishie, devoted turk, he's a bit of a jerk at times. Plus he's got skillz, fighting, running away from battle, hanging out in bars, and being a non-crossdressing JRPG girly boy. Plus he'll do the disgusting work of being Advent Children comedy relief and do it with a smile. That's a hottie.

Bumping this thread because oh my godddd, played FES last year and I totally wanted a Social Link with Akihiko-sempai
Two new nominations for hotties:
- Luke fon Fabre, from Tales of the Abyss, in his Viscount outfit. Unfortunately, I can't find any good non-fanart pictures of this online. Anyway, after he got that outfit, he went from, "Oh, he looks okay, I guess" to "Whoa, when did Luke become so good-looking?"
- Kyle Hyde, from Hotel Dusk and (especially) Last Window. Unrelated: the food porn in both games is awesome, too.
