How much would YOU pay for Rock Band?

I'd pay $90.00 for the game and the drum controller. I believe it's been confirmed that you can use a Guitar Hero controller with Rock Band so I'd be set there.

Edit: And yes, it most likely would cost you $300.00 if you wanted all the "official" Rock Band accessories. But if you have Guitar Hero, you have a guitar. You're going to be able to use your headset, so you have your microphone. All you need next is the drum controller.

I know it cost money to make peripherals, but have none of the companies learned from 2K and their sports line; cheaper prices bring about more sales. I'm a fan of the GH series, but these types of games are niche titles at the most. Sure I pop in GH 1/2 occasionally, but it isn't something played on a regular bases unless you happen to be obtaining achievements ala the new 360 version. At least Harmonix isn't pulling a CliffyB and saying that games need to be cheaper and still charge what everyone else is:

Way to walk the walk Cliffy.:hot:

Not really interested in the title, but I wouldn't want to pay over $100.

NOTHING.

fuck YOU EA.[/QUOTE]
Boy, you're cool.

I'm undecided. Depends on what's in the package. If it comes with the hardware for four players (two guitars, drums, whatever else), then at least $150, for a great four player party game. If it only comes with one or two instruments, $100 max. But all of this will depend heavily on the track listing as well.

The sales numbers of GH2 disagree with you. Immensely.

I'm not speaking of sales. Sure the GH series has great numbers in sales, but when it comes to playing GH or any music/rhythm game it isn't on the top of the list of most gamers. They're great for playing with friends or throwing in to burn some time, but I doubt many treat these titles like a Halo, Mario, Zelda, GoW game. These games IMHO are in the party game category even though there is enough packaged in for single player gaming.

For the past year-and-a-half, I've played Guitar Hero (II) almost daily, occasionally weekly if I'm distracted by another title.

I payed 100 for GH2 for the 360 so I'd be willing to pay 150 for the game and all instruments, but I would have to love 60% of the songs on there.
