It may be a futile, doomed effort, but they aren't killing and totally orphaning the Touchpad. Yeah, it's going to be limited, but it's ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS! A 9.7" tablet with Gorilla Glass screen for a C-note. Hell, I'm gonna get one just cuz! There's a Kindle app, so BAM!!! $100 eReader!

Took an hour of holding on the phone but finally get through to onsale and what do you know, both my orders through amazon of 2 16gb are cancel. And no these r not to resell. Nice of onsale to let me know so soon when I placed my order 5pm mst on Sun. These bitches say my GC will be release w/in 24-48 hrs :hot:, that a 150 that I can't spend. There will be some neg feedback coming from me since I put all my eggs on onsale.

Guess the hunt will continue, 4 days and counting. fucking A
 
FYI Walmart has the case, Touchstone charger, and the wireless keyboard on sale at over 50% off.

I think the keyboard might be OOS though.

Thanks for the heads up. Scored two cases. Tried to get 2 chargers but as I was checking out inventory dropped to 1. Then when I rechecked out it was gone. Oh well.

That's been proven false. It's factually impossible when every single hardware spec in the touchpad is better than the ipad 2.

What is thought to have really happened is that somehow Enyo was made to run inside iOS to some degree to benchmark it's webkit performance.

I will not deal with them after that whole fiasco they put me through. I just received an email from the better business bureau regarding my case. Screw walmart! I think I'm just going to grab the case for $24.99 and call it a day.
 
Sort of annoyed, because I noticed that the SMB order date was processed by 12:06 am yesterday (despite ordering at 8pm), so i might be out of luck.

Are you refferring to OD not charging you? If so I'm in the same boat. I got an official tracking confirmation e-mail this morning and they'll be arriving tomorrow. I have charges from everyone else I tried and most likely failed to order from but not Office Depot which is weird because they are the only one that shipped.

Also are you going to try and get them to retroactive pm BB or Staples at $99.99? It seems kind of silly that OD is a legitimate company but they sold theirs higher then everyone else ($129.99)

I pretty much only have costcentral to hope for now. their email didn't state it was cancelled, but that they're still reviewing all of the orders.
