CAGiversary!
This is the markdown list for a store in the Atlanta area. Most of the prices ending in .95 or .99 should be nationwide while the .98 and .48 prices are the YMMV. From what TubTub stated apparently it depends on what isn't selling at your local TRU, so I guess the solution is dont buy games from TRU for a few months and mabye we'll see a 99cent Halo 2 LE or a going out of business banner...here you go.

What Atlanta area store are you talking about?

I go to one here in Fayetteville, and one in Lawrenceville.

Fire Emblem, here I come!!!

I need a game to play on the long ass hours of plane rides flying back and forth in the country for interviews.

The fast that La Pucelle already dropped to $24 at my store totally shows the YMMV of it. I want to get excited about it but there were a few games on the last thread like this that i wanted but ended up not going down at my store. YMMV indeed.
According to the thread title it starts on Thursday, December 2nd.
Ah, time to maximize my window. Thanx.

I seen Fatal Frame II (Ps2) with a red tag on it on Wendsday. The only problem was that it was behind the counter (along with La Pucelle) and I couldn't see the price.

I picked up some of these games last week as well.
Castlevania: loI was $10
Turok (ps2) was $3.48
Turok (XBOX) was $5
Tenchu was $5

Hopefully this means at least Manhunt will be cheap as well.

Oh my damn! That's the TRU in my neighborhood... FINALLY!!! A YMMV that is frankly a few lights down... I'm so there on Thursday...

turok at my toys r us on Xbox is 1.49$, i bought one and will probably never open it

IMO, those are some weak sauce offerings. It's too bad I live in Athens which is the town next to Atlanta because I would've checked out what they have, since this is very YMMV :(
Gonna check out my TRUs on Thursday.. maybe MN has a city that finally has become part of a YMMV.
That one one 494 and Penn always has huge signs on it saying that they are clearing out inventory, I've never stopped in though.
My TRu still has Manhunt at $30.
Last week, I checked and Xbox Manhunt was $25. PS2 Manhunt was about $15. I did buy the Manhunt Strategy guide for a penny though. I figured I was going to pick up the game sooner or later.

I've been wanting to get Manhunt (PS2) and $15 sounds like a pretty good price. I rented it from GameFly when it first came out and realized it is a game that requires a LOT of patience and time - time I didn't want to spend holding up another rental from coming in. I turned it back in after a few days.

I'm also kinda waiting until I get a PS2 headset since I hear it is a little more immersive to have "The Director" talking only to you in your headset. You can also use it to attract the attention of your enemies by talking into the mic.

I guess I'll post this here since the threads already started. Besides the tons of price drops at TRU tomorrow(Thursday), there will be a ton of mark ups too. A lot of games will be getting a $1 or $2 mark up or higher. For example, Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green will now be $34.99 instead of $33.99(the first 2 weeks they were out the TRU retail was $29.99, slowly they've been getting higher). Just to give you guys a heads up next time you walk into TRU.

But now for a little bit of good news. TRU has started sending out an R-zone catalog to people on the mailing lists with a bunch of coupons in it. The catalog lists all the games and their new prices. Final Fantasy 1 & 2 for GBA is $34.99 in the catalog, but $29.99 in the stores currently. The original EyeToy is shown at $29.99, so I wonder if this is a universal price drop coming up. There are, also, many coupons inside, such as one for $10 off any $100 Nintendo purchase with no exceptions. I'm guessing they forgot to put excludes hardware, but if you get lucky you'll be able to get a DS, GBA SP, or Cube for $10 off. There are quite a few other coupons, but I can't remember them all right now. The coupons are good starting 12/3.

I went in today to one of the TRU's in the DC area, and there were some sales but nothing like that have been listed in the OP by the OP. Anyhow, I'm a little dissappointed, but I never ever seem to be able to find deals at TRU.

I just got back from TRU (the Tucker location in the original post) and I bought the following:

Siren - $10.98
Xenosaga - $14.98

I pricechecked Devil May Cry and it came up as $20, but at half off... and that would have made it $9.99

In a different vein, at BB, I got:

Front Mission 4 - $14.99
Metal Arms - $9.99

BTW, I may end up going back tomorrow after I do some more research on the titles in terms of reviews.
hey really what State are you from Fatesealer?
Georgia... the Tucker, GA location from the original post is 15 minutes from me. They had plenty of Xenosaga and Siren, but after reading more about it, I'm not sold on Siren so it's going back.

whoa. that's my TRU as well! I live just inside 285 on E. Ponce Ave; i was just at the Northlake BB this afternoon, but i didn't stop into TRU! damn. fatesealer, did they have pretty much all of the titles in the OP??

This afternoon I went to TRU on Alpine in Grand Rapids, MI. They had Fire Emblem for $24.98 (too rich for me). In the hardware section they also had the PSOne LCD screen on clearance for $34.98 and the PSOne LCD combo for $49.98--good prices for some great hardware.
