Humble Bundle Thread

Good $1 tier.  Have been having increasing difficulty convincing myself I didn't need to grab the Guild 2 expansions every time they went on sale (and they go on sale insanely often).  Deutschland, Deutschland über alles!

Think i'm missing just the Guild 2 and IMHO Guild 1>>>>>> Guild 2....I never played the pirate expansion though. To me It seemed like you needed too much micromanaging for your people. I enjoyed the simplicity (though it was buggy) experience of 1 more. I had many, many hours in both games though, so they're quite enjoyable nonetheless.

This is my opinion:

Gothic 1 was great and the best one in the franchise;

Gothic 2 (base-game) was pretty good, but it's issues from G1 are on a huger level than G1.

G3 just had WAY too many bugs, issues, technical problems, etc - disaster on that front.

While I did like G3 - too many technical issues got in the way of enjoying it like I should've.

That game got kicked out the door WAY WAY WAY too early.

I do have G3 expansion, G4: Arcania + its expansion - ain't played them.

G1 and G2 are better than 99% of any of the games most people here have played.  Guaranteed.  Book it.  Bank on it, Skippy.  File 'dat shaqfu away with the Postmaster General.  Arcania is an abortion.  Even for a generic ARPG it's horrible.  If anyone considers Arcania a good game they need to seriously reassess their taste in games.  It's so bad it comes off as being written by a twelve-year-old.  The quests are worse than MMO variety, same for the game world.  Combat is atrocious, character skins are repeated far too much, the engine is poorly optimized, etc., etc. etc.

i've been eyeing it a few times.. toward the very end. Still didn't spark that much interest and I know it will be in the backlog. I am sure it will pop up again. Same goes for the Europa Universalis III collection.

Ah, so that's what the Payday 2 Humble Mask thing was about.

Lame.

Oh well, good bundle for $1. The BTA-tier is just silly though. Either should have been more in it, or just move it to the $1-tier.

 
Not much for digital swag and already have Civ3 and Anomaly 2. I also like they say about twitch.tv turbo...because it isn't loading for me so i'm watching the E3 press conferences on IGN.
