Humble Bundle Thread

agreed. now the third weekly that has a $15 top tier vs $12 (formerly $10 at times) and no $2 credit this time for monthly subscribers. Obduction looks like a Myth type game, but I will hold out until bundled again. While Human Fall Flat and Nex Machina are fine for unlocks, this seems overpriced or just meh. $1 tier it is

The trend of unexciting comics bundles continues.  There's some good stuff in this Dynamic Forces bundle, but lots of single issues and incomplete runs.  $1 tier is particularly uninspiring, but you might be able to get some value out of the latter tiers.

In the last four months this is what I've spent on Humble Bundles.

Codemasters Racing - $1

Paradox - $1

Rockstar - $1

Everything else has been penny locks and skips. :fridge:

$1 for Domina. Would be a decent bundle if it included Tropico 5 complete.

Comic bundle is absolutely terrible.

You've got me beat by $3.

Edit: I haven't purchased a weekly bundle since Nov. 10!

I'm one of the harshest critics of games/bundles but there have been a few decent offering from Humble recently. The last two monthlies have been solid.

Edit: Okay, so I'm prematurely including the current monthly in that but unless the bonus unlock is a bag of feces it'll be hard not to call it a decent bundle.

That reminds me of my Groupees-free streak. I haven't given a penny to Yanni's new yacht and beach house fund in over 2.5 years.

Yeah the monthly bundles have been very good. I've only bought one monthly before (May 2017), but monthlies definitely seem to be the focus going forward. I wish I had gotten a couple of the recent ones, but I still have a hard time doing a subscription service when I'm not sure I will play all the games before they get re-bundled for cheaper.

I'll just wait for the next dynamite poopees bundle.

Which sounds like a terrible combination now that I think of it.

People buy audio bundles?
I would actually buy a Big Finish Doctor Who bundle. There was a Dalek Empire one a few years ago I missed out on and then another one that was Doctor Who but not Doctor Who in that it wasn't the audio dramas that actually featured the actors who played the Doctor.

I gave your mom a big finish last night!

I mean, I would too, but I already downloaded the entire canon off TPB before the audio bundles came out (still bought them to support BF). Noticing that the quality is going downhill, and I think it's equal parts aging cast and lack of new writers. It'd be great to get people from the reboots involved and keep it going once Tom Baker et al retire. Seems like Nicholas Briggs does most of the work these days.

My guess is something humble monthly bundled in a BTA with mostly repeats and 1 new game, a low tier with 1 new game and a high $15 tier with 1 newer game that hasn't been bundled before, and people almost fakey that if they want it.

Pretty good $1 tier. Lol @ superhot in top tier. Wasn't that in like a $2-3 bundle from g2a? Nothing new in BTA tier either.

You broke my rule Humble! Top tier is supposed to be a game people actually want haha. $1 tier is good....and mid tier is all humble monthly repeats.

And in a Humble Monthly. Everything has been bundled previously except Rakuen and maybe Halcyon 6, although maybe that was as well. Still, Rakuen for a dollar is terrific.

The BTA stuff being in a monthly is working out for me, I'll gladly pay the $4.53 after it tanked for those three games.

Also of note, added Jumbo games were Kathy Rain and Flat Kingdom Paper's Cut Edition - so not what the reported leak said.

Not sure if this was mentioned yet (or if it's new) but apparently there's some kind of promotion on the Humble Store where if you visit it once a day for five days during their Indie Mega Week sale you get some rewards.

https://www.humblebundle.com/mission/indie-mega-week-promo

Mine shows a 15% off coupon for Staxel after 2 visits and a free copy of Hackyzack after 5 visits.  You can also earn it by spending $5 in the Humble Store for one stamp (you need 5 for both items), but I can't imagine anyone wanting to spend $30 to get a free copy of Hackyzack.  LOL

From what I remember some people here got Superhot along with other games totaling about $70 for free during a big coupon glitch at the Indie Gala store around summer 2016.

I didn't get in on the glitch or do the g2a thing and I still have superhot from somewhere, not sure who thought it would sell a top tier by itself.
It was in the June 2017 monthly bundle last year - that bundle had Stellaris as an early unlock and it was selling for $10-$11, which made the rest of the games almost free. That was the only monthly I've ever bought.

Also I feel dumb for wasting 7500 Chrono coins on Mini Metro two weeks ago.

Wow the dollar tier is great.  All three of these games are ones I wanted.  Now I can stop being salty about Chrono being sold out of Mini Metro before I saw the email about it.

I missed Mini Metro the last few times Humble has bundled it. I think that $1 tier is pure gold for me, as Rakuen is on my wish list and was almost bought during a sale before....almost.

SUPERHOT is also free from Twitch Prime until March 31st, caveat being that you have to use their client. Beats $14 for a game that will probably get bundled again soon.

Surprised to see a bunch of positive reactions to this one. I almost feel like a Humble cheerleader sometimes, but this bundle seems terrible to me; so many repeats and even if they weren't repeats, the quality seems a bit low for a numbered bundle.

i feel like people been saying superhot would be "bundled" for a long time now, and here we are.

Maybe Superhot dev regrets the g2a thing and really wants some money. it's been avoiding a superlow price for a long time now
