Yeah I tried Titan Attack and found it really fun. Too bad the leaderboards are borked for me, but I guess I should be spending time with other games anyway :whistle2:(

man, talk about bad timing. i wonder if the PA guys had any say when this would go up. i mean it's cool if you want the books, but for the games it ain't worth it.

hmm whys the timing so bad? I was only missing a couple of the games but i just kicked in $6 and donated it to childs play. Its a great charity and i dont mind throwing down a measaly $6 to fill in my PA game collection

Well its unlinked now but I have no idea how it would have happened since I have no idea what that account is. Wouldnt I have had to tell humble to link to that account and click through various pages as I had to do to relink my own account?

sure, giving to Child's Play is cool and all, but I can do that whenever. (donates money to CAG drive) i'm just talking about a value proposition, where the majority of cags here already had the first 3 games for less than $6.

They'll be redeemed when Squeenix Humble runs at the end of the Android bundle. Thinking about it… it's brilliant. Have the Steam/Amazon sale first so Squeenix gets all these $5 Tomb Raiders sales from people thinking they're getting a deal… and then… BOOM… Deus Ex HR, Sleeping Dogs, Hitman, Tomb Raider with a $5-6 BTA.

*and executed. I'm making the distinction between, sitting down and deciding, versus impulse charity.

Well, shoot.  I already have the first game, should I get the first tier for the second game or the full thing for the other 3 games?  Or just wait for them to go on sale with steam like they were yesterday when I passed?

 
Wait, why is the PA bundle a bad thing? I passed when Steam had the sale recently in the hopes of a bundle so I could snag them all at once. This seemed like great timing to me.

A good deal is a good deal, no? Just because you don't like the offer doesn't make it a bad deal, it's just not for you. I was getting the feeling there was a better way to go from some of the earlier comments.

As madjoki says, you can pay less for the $6 tier through Steam. Get the first tier for $1. PA 3 and 4 will be like $1ish each when their feature sale rolls around again. 3 was given away for free a few months ago.

We will have to. It's a matter of different thought processes I suppose. If the latest CoD game was $1 I would consider it a good deal, but I have no interest in the game so it's not for me. That doesn't mean it isn't still a good deal.

I think we are making different arguments though. The previous posts indicate this deal isn't that great, which is fine but the disagreement we are having is whether not a deal is a deal. Or are you just disagreeing with me because the bundle isn't that great?

They'd better have some doozies in store for the new year! I have a feeling they do; like you said, they're clearly scraping the bottom of the barrel here. I'm sure the new bundles will be based around all the newish A-list indie titles I've been picking up this week individually. Sigh...the life of a CAG...
