Humble Bundle Thread

Oh also, I tried Influent for about five minutes after the last bundle and had no desire to come back to it.  I think I'd rather just memorize vocabulary lists than stumble through an ugly polygonal world picking things up and putting them down again.

Which is not to say I might not pick it up again in this bundle for another language pack...

I don't know why I'm still checking this. It's obviously not going to get under $4, and while I haven't decided exactly what my BTA buy-in threshold would be, it's definitely under $4.

so none of these games worth $4 BTA?

i thought the shoot them up line ups are pretty decent

Possibly, I just feel like I have enough shmups waiting to be redeemed on Steam, let alone played, for the moment. For all I know, some of the ones in this bundle are among them.

For me this was the best Weekly in a long long time if not ever. HMH2 has been on my wishlist since it came out, same with Rime Berta. Just those two are worth the $10. Add in a trio of shmups (never heard of them....maybe they're bad I dunno) an arena brawler, and that Fairy Bloom game that I wanted just so Steam would stop shoving it down my throat....well it was an easy buy for me.

I only need the second Cherry Tree game, Magical Battle Festa, Revolver 360 Reactor, and the third Alltynex game.

I also want the Half-Minute Hero game but no way am I paying 10 bucks for that tier.

Does this even include soundtracks?

I guess I'll stick to the BTA.   I was interested in Rime Berta but it sounds like it was a disappointment going by the reviews and the price difference is not worth the gamble.  Yay shmups!

Still dropping.  Are people just hoarding Influent DLC or something?

...could you penny into the DRM free version a bunch of times and get them all?

Purchases under $1 don't count towards the average. It's most likely people hoarding Influent DLC by buying multiple $1-tiers.

I only own one, Fairy Bloom Freesia...

Wow, still sliding gently, $4.50 bta

Also, Fairy Bloom Freesia is *awesome*.
... and yes, I enjoyed it a lot! I've finished one playthrough and have been meaning to go back and do the second.

I'm probably going to get the BTA for the shmups, the language thing for the kids, and a handful of +1s. Not a bad bundle because of the shmups, but I'm a little tired of seeing visual novels in bundles. Just my preference.

He's asking for himself, not hypothesizing what others are doing.

I'd be curious, too, but having just finished a TEFL training course, I'm suspicious whether the game has any real benefit.

Yay, thanks for posting BTA price updates!

I'm glad that even though I'm 30min late, I'm still able to lock a $4.52

I later sorta regretting skipping that BTA... now I have a smug sense of satisfaction. Since I'm taking Japanese classes right now, it's at least possibly useful.
$4.41 now. You may have wasted a penny.

I regretted not BTAing so I guess now we're switching places. Sokobound's still cool though, hope that gets rebundled.
Sokobond was the one that looked really good. The Influent pack was a nice bonus.

So if anyone wants Influent for free, PM me with what language you want. First one gets it.
See, this is why you should ask for a quote n' post, rather than a pm. Cuz now, erryone's gonna pm you. I know it's gone by now, and I still might pm you. Maybe it'll be nice, like a complement on your personality. Or maybe it'll be a couple of furry'd up Foxhacks bumping uglies in full furry dress.

You never know.

It'll be the latter.

Unsure of what tier to get....I mainly want cherry high sequel, the shooter game trilogy in the BTA....and I would like Half Minute Hero 2.

I know if I get Influent will just get the Spanish language....nouns always get me so i'm sure it could help a bit. Not a bad weekly though but I'm a bit unsure if I should do the $10 tier. BTW I have to say I hate tiers like the $10 static tier. It messes up the BTA and hard to judge the value of the bundle from it.....ugg.

The thought crossed my mind....

^_^ I played it though on the lowest difficulty, then on one difficulty up, I think I left off at the 3rd (highest?) difficulty. Your upgrades carry over across playthoughs.

Nah, I have a $4.40 tab =D

Really? I tried the demo and the fact the whole game was on one level really made it seem boring. But hey in a bundle I'm happy to give it another shot.
I never played the demo, the game has many stages, some of them are quite vertical. The layout of of the stages changes up gameplay.

Edit: You couldn't possibly confusing this with Croxleur?

Humble really needs to work out a deal with Valve and let me use my Gabenbux on Humble bundles (and store, I guess).

Pennied in at $4.43 and might go the full $10 since I don't have anything from BTA and up and I don't even like shmups.

Is Influent a decent learning tool or is it more like a set of flash cards for stuff you learn to help iron it into your knowledge type stuff?
It's a +1 to my DLC count.

But, from my understanding, it's a clever way to learn a few extra names and their proper pronunciations for everyday things in various languages. It's a component to a whole, not an entire language learning program. As long a you treat it as such, what few reviews I've seen claim it to be a valuable little tool, at least for a short while.

If anyone buys it and wants the French Influent DLC...I mistakenly picked the frog language and need Brazilian Portuguese...

send me a PM and we can trade..or ill swallow your soul

Just did the BTA...want Half Minute Hero 2....but with about 5 somethingish more to get it.....I will wait till it goes for about $2.50 or is in another bundle. The other $10 tier game looks OK but I have decent strategy RPGs like Disgaea 3-4 and Tactics Ogre and I could replay FFT again...just better games in the backlog already.
