The fuck? That's ridiculous. The longest an order ever took to get to me from PA was like 1.5 weeks.

By mario stylus you mean this, right? I'm not sure if I'll buy one of those when they release, since I already own a Cheep Cheep and Goomba one, and I'd hate to get a duplicate. I'll probably still get one, though.

Hori extendable, do you mean the attachment set? If so, I have that and it's great.

Yeah, to be fair it is my fault as I messed up on the shipping address.

Yep, I ordered two of those. Don't have any any stylus so its new to me.

I ordered two of those Bombermans and though my odds are not high on getting a duplicate (though my luck dictates that I will get two of the same one), but if I do, want to trade?

Yeah I really can't wait for that Hori stylus, my hands cramp way too much using the one that came with the DS.

What you should do is tell them that you bought it, went over to your friend's place to play with his copy and noticed that the whammy bar wasn't working right. You tested out his guitar and it worked OK.

I wouldn't hold your breath about getting two seperate ones, though. I remember when they had Mario, Luigi and Yoshi figures really cheap, most people who ordered multiples in 1 order got dupes.

Any of you OTTers need penny guides from the latest BB drop? I could hook you up if you need 'em.

Also, I want to sell Strikers Charged if anyone is interested. $35 shipped.

Edit: Good idea, Shrike. I forgot that the software is shrinkwrapped inside (right? :p). I'll call Activision and RO and see what happens.

I'm hoping that between Activision and RO, someone will fix the issue. If not, as much as I hate sticking a retailer with a "defective" game, it might be your only way to deal with it. If the software is sealed, you should be able to return it and get your money back. They should just RMA the game w/guitar back to RO and then you'll be OK.

They didn't have one when I picked up COD4, so they may have picked up one in the meantime.

In theory, if the software isn't opened, they shouldn't be able to refuse the return. In practice, that's another matter. Plus, if they ask you why you are returning it, just tell them you heard you're getting it for Xmas and wanted to wait until then. :lol:

I'll wait until I call RO and Activision and see what's up. Maybe RO will actually help me out. If not, I'll probably do it at Target or Walmart.

While waiting for Super Mario Galaxy to come out, so I started playing Chrono Trigger. A little late to the party, I know, but this game is greatness in cartridge format. Now I'm confused on whether it's this or Earthbound as the greatest game ever made.

Not far enough in Chrono Trigger to compare it to much as the last half could let down, but for where I am it has been nothing but good. I'm around
where Crono is killed by Lavos.
 
Chrono and Earthbound are universally loved.

I hate Earthbound.

I never saw the super appeal of Chrono though, but I still respect it.
I had a lot of fun with it all those years ago.
