Thats true. There' s more important things they should be broadcasting instead of the Britney and Kevin's sorry-ass relationship circling the drain. Who cares?
...a lot of people, apparently. If you want to watch non-stop coverage of the AIDS crisis in Africa, I'm sure you can find various media outlets (print, online, maybe?) that can suit your desires. For those of us who don't limit our interests to that of natural disasters and medical crises, we are allowed to enjoy some time in front of the tube hearing about our favorite extraordinary celebrities.
I'm happy to see her piss away all that (not so hard earned) cash and fail at stuff that isn't handed to her on a silver platter.
...since when did you become an expert on Britney's financial books? What leads you to believe she is pissing away all she has earned (
OMG she didn't earn it she didn't even write her songs lolz - I said it for ya)? An exaggerated VH1 special, perhaps? I'd wager that Britney is about as financially secure as one could really wish to be at this point, with no sign of financial danger in sight.
Gives me a feeling that there is justice in this world. That substanceless nonesense like celebrity status can fade away as quickly as it arrived.
Yet Britney's celebrity status has gone nowhere, nor have her fans...nor have the numbers of those desperately seeking for something with "
like, more meaning, man" been growing. Clearly what holds substance to some does not hold substance to others, and we all have our own reasons for defining to ourselves what is or is not worthy of our concern and/or interest...but I think you may be misled if you believe that the numbers of people who legitimately
do think Britney (and celebrites, in general) are worthy of interest and concern are dwindling.
