I got a crush on a Gamestop manager

This reminds me of a girl who used to work at fanny farmer (A chocolate store). I was walking by the store once in the mall (the whole store is easily visible) and saw this really hot, short, asian girl. I used to stop in all the time to buy gummy bears (I don't really like chocolate) just because she was working there. I was a lot younger then though.
There used to be this really hot Asian momma that used to work at the Gamestop near my house. I never thought about asking her out though. Gamespot is not exactly the best place to ask her out especially with a bunch of screaming kids in the store.
maybe its that one chick on this site.

I REALLY hope no one made topics like this about me when I worked at GS....
oh crap...sorry, i thoguht it was the best way to express my feelings
I manage retail, and I feel sorry for women in retail. They get hit on all the time. Every female employee I've ever had has been hit on by customers. Every one.

You know the adage about picking up bartenders? The same applies to all retail women. That is to say, Don't.

Leave her alone. You don't stand a chance.
I got a date at whole foods supermarket once. I went to the checkout line on a saturday (middle of the day) and she asked me if I was going to the clubs tonight. I said no, then she said that I should because it fun (or something like that, I'm a little sketchy on the conversation). So I said asked her if she was busy that night and, if not, if she'd want to go and she said sure. I had to kill like 4 hours before she got off work (I wasn't near my house so I couldn't really go home).

Then again, I wasn't the one who brought it up or even thought about it, until I thought she was trying to get me to ask her.

replace "women in retail" with "every woman"

I can see it all now, this is gonna be just like last summer. You fell in love with that girl at the Fotomat, you bought forty dollars worth of fuckin' film, and you never even talked to her. You don't even own a camera.

my cousin lives out in Van Nuys, next time I am around there I am going to stop by the store, and see if this girl is working.
OMG my old girlfriedn was such a hottie, looked like Jessica Alba but I dumped her and she got so depressed that she took up heroine and OD'd anyways one time some mafia guys were hitting on her and I ran over all tough like and stuff and they peed their pants and ran away
OMG so funny ROLFEZL

Making fun of something I said to make fun of myself: 10,000,000 points!

And Quillion is only mad because I told two "customers" the "fuck" word, because he loves his job in retail. To keep in line with the video game references, for this'n, I'll have to say: GAME OVER. (In relation to your life, of course.)
The suspense is terrible... I hope it lasts.
It will have to, Mr. Wonka... I'm at work again. :O

(By the way, that line was fairly Nihilistic for a "childrens' movie".) ;)

Talk to her when you stop by Gamestop, perhaps buy a thing or two, try and act natural and not like some jerk, treat her with DIGNITY AND RESPECT, make her laugh a little too, etc etc etc.... that's how you win a woman's heart. Being a gentleman with class works far better than some horney jock. Trust me on it okay. :)

Go to the GameStop, walk over to the used DVDs, snatch up Dirty Dancing and Top Gun. Walk over to the counter & place your dvds in front of her. Lean in to her & ask- "Will you be my wingman?"

... and then grab every dork in the store to help and belt out "You've Lost That Loving Feeling."

She'll be like putty in your greasy little gaming hands! :D
If she's hot and she's into gaming, there's about a 99.8% chance she's already taken. Girls like that don't stay available for very long. Give it a shot though, you never know.
Heed this man's advice. I know from personal experience; I'm one of those girls.

It wouldn't be a great movie without those little touches.

Ummm, Hello.......

Some geeky looking kid came into the store last night as we were closing and kept looking at me funny. I walked up and asked if I could help him and he started giggling, handed me a business card and ran out. The business card had some guys info marked out and the other side had the web address of this thread and a big heart. What's going on? Who are you?

Thanks,
Sonja

Funny meter: 0. You failed.

That's somewhat vain.
Is the OP the spawn of Phrostbyte?

Speaking of PhrostByte.. I went into taurus's store a couple days to pre-order some games and... she was hiding behind the counter! Fear turns me on...
It wouldn't be a great movie without those little touches.
If it weren't for the seven or eight screenwriters that had the script passed between them, those dark touches and Shakespeare references wouldn't have been included... Brilliance. :)

Hey, be fair. Not every response can be as instant a classic as "Someone should print this page out and show her it."

I'm not being vain, but I do play videogames and I'm not fat or ugly. I don't know if I'd be considered hot, maybe more cute than hot, but I'm just saying that girls like us really are a hot commodity.

True dat. It's better to go for a "fixer-upper," so to speak. Because it's remarkably easy to lure most people into gaming.

That was a bad move. Do you know how many PM's and harrasment and people asking for pictures you are going to get now? I'd delete that post if I were you.
Yep, this thread makes me sad.
Then I question your value system.

"fixer-upper" - you mean like two black eyes?

I think he means finding someone who plays games casually, like a mario fan or sonic (these types of girls are much more common), and introducing them to games on a constant basis, turning them into fans.

Well, I'd go as far as "previous gaming experience not needed, will train," but essentially correct.
I got 3 different degrees and i still dont know if my current job is the right one for me.
got a degree in health science, business administration and health information management----
i'm now working in a rewarding job...but for some reason i'm now bored and want to do something else.

i think my real passion is anthropology or sociology. i'm a history buff and read all sorts of history, science and sociology books. i'm just realizing that now, but when i was in college, i was just taking classes so i can finish and get a job.

i'll probably never find out what i really want to do. i have so many different interest.
ok...i don't know where to begin...first off, how old are you man? you're old enough to have 3 degrees, but can't approach a female? you're putting her on too high of a pedastal for only knowing her name and nothing more.

second...you seem like a person that wants decisions made for you. don't know what job you want, don't know who you want to date...make a decision and go for it, even if it is the wrong choice. maybe you'll have fun and learn something. maybe you'll hate her, but she's got a hot friend who's single. you'll never find out if you don't go for it.

finally...take advice from your namesake darwin...it's survival of the fittest out there. grow a pair, talk to her, and see if she wants to get a bite to eat sometime.

Whatever happened that one girl who cosplayed as Hitomi.....wasn't she a gamestop manager? wonder how much her inbox filled after posting that pic....being the resident DoA fan(and Hitomi user) I'll have you all know that I am proud to have not been that guy! ;-)
