I invited a few friends over for some pizza, football, and some Wii action on launch day. We had a four player setup going on with Wii Tennis, Wii Bowling, Red Steel, and Ultimate Alliance. We had lots of fun, but I think the rest enjoyed the Wii Sports games better than the others.
They were really impressed with the responsiveness of the new controllers. All of them said that it felt very natural, and their sweat became obvious after a few rounds of gaming. Good thing the Wii reminded us to take a break and get some fresh air outside.
The whole Wii event actually convinced my brother to get the system for her fiancee and her sisters. He said that they could use it as some sort of exercise tool and not have to think about exercising.
Anyway, I woke up this morning tired as hell. My shoulders ache and my arms are tired, but I can't wait to play some more later on today.
