I think I may have actually hurt myself drinking...
I was in the room when the man did it. Swing and a miss!
Great. So in addition to planning future experiments with recreational drugs that you consider somehow "safe", you've also watched someone try to commit suicide and didn't do anything about it. This keeps getting better and better....

I won't deny what he and I did was dumb as hell. But come on, you instigated the flames.

Edit: Actually, I instigated the flames but come on, let it go!

I am glad for your help headrusch. I will never take the chance again. However, you are forgetting one thing. The liver is one of the better organs in the human body, it can regenerate and repair itself. I'm never gonna take pills like that again, and I'm gonna lay off booze for a while to help my liver rest and heal itself. So just chill headrusch I ain't goin to die any time soon!

I just presented you with the facts. Your liver is a marvel of regeneration....but you've given it a serious test to overcome.

The facts say 12.5 grams of tylenol is several grams over the average Liver Toxicity level.

You might be fine, or your liver might be dying right now and you dont even know it. Only way to tell is to go to the doctor and have them run some liver enzyme plates on you...I think that is what they are called....

Read this PDF, pay attention to the "Three Stages of Liver Toxicity"...thats the part that states that 24-48 hours the poisioned person might feel just fine......

The only reason you wont go to a doctor is if you dont want the hassle of parents or doctors asking you WHY you took 25 of anything. But....you know....you did.....and because this isn't a game, maybe this time you be the man and go get it checked out. Tell them you did it on a dare....tell them "look I know it was wrong, but I'm here now doing the right thing"....they'll check you out and applaud your maturity.

This isn't a game...you didn't take like...5 or 6 or 10....you took 25........twenty five EXTRA STRENGTH tylenol........c'mon dude, wake up.

I hope you dodged a bullet, wether you go to the ER or not......I'm pullin for ya. HOpefully you're posting here 2, 3, 4 weeks from now saying "See HeadRusch, I told you I was right!".

And for chrissakes...if you wanna get wasted, pick one of the STANDARDS ok? :p

Well, I'm still alive and kicking. Its been almost 96 hours after the fact and I'm still alive. I won't ever do it again, luckily I dodged the bullet. I have some slight soreness in my liver and kidneys but if I had serious liver injury, I'd be dead or in the hospital by now. But I really thank you, I won't ever do it again. I owe you a lot, if your ever in the NY westchester area, let me know, I'd like to take you out to lunch sometime. Thanks for all of your help headrusch and sorry I kinda jacked the OPs thread.

Oh yeah, I'm just wondering, why such conviction against tylenol, did anything personal happen to you or a friend that makes you want to let everyone know the dangers of it. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate it but still, I'm just wondering why.
