I guess I won't if you don't want me to.

However, you're far too late to stop this from becoming part of CAG's vocab ;).
I don't want you to add anything into Urban Dictionary.

So, is 5:30 too early to start drinking?

I just found out that not only are my first 2 girlfriends engaged (not to each other) but my first girlfriend is pregnant too.

I think the universe is really conspiring to make me run away from my life.

I think my past trouble with relationships is what really makes this freak me out not that I should feel "all grown up." I mean I haven't been in a long term relationship in over 2 years now and 2 of my ex girlfriends are engaged and starting families. God this is depressing.

Well...at least you always got me to hate.

I know you're not very will liked around here but you haven't really done anything to piss me off though so I don't even have that...

This weather had better be better for tomorrow when I go to my first SXSW show: Ghostland Observatory (for free!).

Edit: oh, and new sig. This quote was said by Rorschach from Watchmen to
his fellow inmates after he was arrested.

Okay, so I suddenly have plans for the evening. I'd go outside and shoot some hoops while I wait for my gf to finish working out, but the cars are parked in the driveway and it's too much work to move both of them.

Maybe I'll just play some NSMB on the deck. :whistle2:k

First off, why does everyone feel a need to have a reason to drink and/or a set time to do so?

Second, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you? Just because your ex's are engaged or whatever doesn't mean they are any more stable than you are. (Especially if they like NASCAR.) *Rimshot*

Wow. CNET (GameSpot) owns Gamefly and DVDspot now? Now there's some new FilmSpot site they've added to what GS members can join.

Damn. It's fucking 92 degrees here.

Wow. Gamefly too?

That's a giant network. Gamefaqs, Gamespot, and Gamefly alone. Not to mention metacritic and now it seems DVDspot, and I'm sure there's others.

20 cent listing day tommorrow, but only for auction's?

What a fucking waste... I needed 20 cent listing day on BIN's, because that's what I use 99.5% of the time and the 50 + things I have left are higher price items that I really don't want auctions on.

I guess I list it all as BIN's and just eat the listing fees, since another sale won't come until May.

In other news, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic was only $12.48 at my Target... not bad for a game that just hit in November and still retails for $50 everywhere. I grabbed a few extra to sell too to break even.

Um, yeah?

It's isn't Thought, it's tought. Or taught. Or tott. Whatever. No lisp.

Couldn't you just list the items minimum auction bid as the amount you wanted to sell them as? If so, I'll throw some stuff on there.

Guess I'll get Comcast Internet at CompUSA. $20 for six months, $75 Gift Card, and a $70 rebate on a modem making it FAR.

BB andCC have the six months, but thy only offer a $50 GC and a $40 rebate on the modem.

I'm 24 and my good friend said something that really helped out.

"If you were willing to settle for what they settled for, you would still be with them.
It's not a sign of dysfunctionality, but of aspirations."

that's actually a really good point.

Yeah, he says he came up with it on the fly too rather than having heard it before. I was impressed.

When I was younger there was a family-run comic shop around here.

The price of new comics put me off since I'd then want to buy them monthly (and this still puts me off of comic books. and the fact that I doubt there's a decent shop around except books a million). The owners had a giant comin collection that they were selling, so in the middle of the store they had 12 or so big old boxes of alphabetized comins, priced quite cheap. I picked a bunch of The Mask comics.

Holy shit. They were creepy. I still wish I had the one or two issues I need to complete some of the series.

Edit: Oh yeah. Then they closed and a boating supply store took the building. :'[

Why must the gum eyeballs in my Raphael Ninja Turtle Ice Cream be utter crap. Back when I was a wee lad that stuff was better than big league chew.

Sigh. Reading about comic books, especially that civil war shit, makes me really interested. I never knew they crossed superheroes at all... damn I suck.

Too bad that shit costs like 7 bucks per thin little comic book.

I think the real life inspiration for the Comic Book Guy is from my city, I swear. Big bald greasy ponytail dude to runs a comic book store out of a house.

It only has a tiny little sign out on the front lawn that proclaims it is, indeed, a store.

He's been at it for easily 15 years or so.

Yeah, they link to the other sites they own, which is where I found Gamefly. They also own Gamerankings.com (I don't know why they wanted two aggregate sites), which is where I saw a link to DVDspot. I'm thinking that they're using the database of DVDspot for FilmSpot, as that lets you hold a DVD collection and I noticed that it's got a lot of stuff there. FilmSpot only seems to hold DVDs of movies and not TV shows, though I'm not sure if their TV.com allows for DVDs of TV shows to be listed, as well.

Sweet. I guess I'll list my GC tomorrow. Do they still charge for all the extras or is that included?

Holy shit, the two threadless tee announced yesterday that I wanted are sold out in mens medium and large already. Damn.
Couldn't you just list the items minimum auction bid as the amount you wanted to sell them as? If so, I'll throw some stuff on there.
You could, but I like BIN's because, espicially with super popular stuff (which is all I have left to sell), I can sell it within a day and with immediate payment on they have to pay me ASAP or they don't get their item. Also, I can raise or lower my BIN price depending on the market value.

With an auction, even an auction with a BIN, some douche will just straight up bid with my luck and I'll have to wait 7 days + however long it takes for them to pay me.

The only auctions I have left all start at 99 cents so they are 20 cents anyways. Just disappointed because I strongly prefer fixed price auctions.

Tanuki, the charge for the extras, this just covers the basic entry fee - if you start your auctions at 99 cents anyways this does you no good.

It's bad, but not that bad. Only 3 bucks per issue. And if you wait for the trade paperbacks, it's not too bad either.

Looks like my two types of corn and the green beans are starting to grow! Just another few weeks before I move them into the outside garden.
Being sick of deadbeat bidders, I finally got smart and started using Immediate Payment required... I'm glad I did ;)
Good to hear. Should be less issues for you.

Apparently my sister-in-law got somewhat ill today and had to go to the hospital, even though I'm still not sure what for. Sounds like a bad thing, but she is doing fine at the moment, not to mention I get to skip out on Astronomy Lab tomorrow, but to do so I am forced to play with my nephew for up to 5 hours. I can handle him for a couple, but 4-5 hours is going to be pushing it. I'll see whats up in the morning though.

Later OTTers.

Well, I gotta get up at 4 am since i have a flight to Florida in the morning. Out till Sunday afternoonish. Not that anyone would really notice I wasn't here.
