So anyway, I get to my car after work today and wouldnt you know it .. the car parked directly behind me was vadalized. I'm suprised (and thankful) they didnt get mine cause I have a sirius radio in there and I need that thing to survive the 50+ minute commute every day.

well, just be glad it wasn't yours. with the headache i went through when my car got rear-ended by some 70 year old douchebag, i can only imagine what headache it is to deal with reporting a vandalized car, unless the are witnesses that saw it actually *get* vandalized.

I have a ton of cassettes that I've transfered CDs onto, though. It's kinda nice, because I can have an album on each side (assuming they fit).

In my astronomy class today, my instructor made mention of a few instances he knew of where meteorites hit homes, cars, etc. My first question was "I wonder if their insurance covered it?"

The meteorites sell for large amounts of money, our Astronomy teacher told us this when someone asked.

Insurance dosen't cover it but meteorite hunters pay very well for the meteorites. One lady got her car wrecked and got enough to buy a completely new one.

Ghostland Observatory, while a great band, doesn't put on too good of a show, I'm sad to say.
They also only played for like 30 minutes, probably because it was a free show =/.

Why do people say this? They used to take weeks, even months. They only started getting fast when the 50 limit was put in, and even then they started slow as hell.

i said that because the OTT has only gone like 60 posts in the last 24 hours, which is extremely slow compared to the last couple OTTs that went 500 posts in 2 days

I got it via email. 2-day online-only 10% off your order. 360 Premium & Casino Royale came to $393 w/ tax.

Haven't bought any games yet. I plan to get Gears and a few others like Oblivion (when it price drops a bit) and Viva Pinata, but I have a huge (film) shoot coming up next week and I can't really afford the distraction. So for now, just the system and some Marketplace points. Also got a controller & the live gold camera pack coming from Amazon via super saver.
 
OK I gave gears of war online another chance...and its alright. BUT I dont like how every action is MAPPED TO THE fucking A button.

I am trying to run..and i am sticking to walls like a fly..trying to roll and i start running.

This makes the controls clunky as hell which is imporant in an online game.

Because you're not used to it. It becomes fluent once you master it.
 
Everything is mapped to the A button to make the game easier, just like the lack of variety regarding the weapons. You are holding down the button too long or not long enough.

Makes sense but i think it would make even more sense to map it to one of the many other buttons that dont get used.

What magical button would that be? Every button gets used. Also just think about how akward it would be to map different buttons for run and roll. It would mean that melee and grab would be much harder.
