I unfortunately saw it, and I can't unsee it. Why would Sony advertise like this?

I really have no idea who they are reaching for here. I mean it just doesn't make sense to me...

I think the advertisement was in Playgirl or something like that in Austria. Still...for some reason I could totally see something like that work with the Wii, when everyone had those Wii jokes, and of course Strell's patented Wang-motion. XD

Europe isn't as sensitive towards male nudity as America which could explain this a little. I doubt that Sony would approve this ad anyway but if it is official it's doing what it's supposed because everyone is talking about it.
 
First off Anti-PS3 dude, SCEE != Sony in general. SCEE, SCEA, SCEJ, etc. ALL have their own advertising campaigns, own management, completely different Q&A process for games, etc.

Second of all, the commercial has been altered, so move along and quit with the Sony bashing when you should be referring to SCEE. :roll:

Sony's had some really fucked up ads before, namely the europe adds that involve a couple having sex to advertise the PS3.

So yes, there's no reason why it wouldn't be official.
