There you go. Sorry I took so long. I actually changed the low settings (1) so I could run a custom mix of high and very high. I had everything on very high except for textures. They look about the same, but it stutters less. Just overwrite the (1) setting with the (4), then low will actually be very high.
What happened with Vista? I used it for a while, until it stopped mounting my flash drive. I'm waiting for the service pack, then I'm going to try it again.[/QUOTE]
Well, the first problem was that Gears of War ran into an issue so that I couldn't play it. That's a big

in' problem. The bigger problem, however, was that it kept giving me a message that some display driver bullshit has stopped working. I looked it up and it turns out that it's a Vista only problem and there's no fix. Thought about it for a second and realized "oh wait, this is

ing stupid." So I threw XP on there (I'm on XP right now) and I'm hoping it's functional... which it

in' should be.
On the bright side, though, when I did have Vista, Crysis configured itself to run in Very High mode with all the DX10 stuff, and it was running fine at the 360 resolution (1280 X 720 or something). Does the very high mode in XP give you all the DX10 effects then?
Oh, and I'm not sure you
want your OS mounting your flash drive. That's just... gross.
edit: Oh yeah, and you PS3 owning sons are in for a treat when Unreal Tournament 3 comes out. Holy shit is that game fun. I like that in the PC version, you don't need to have the disc in to play the game. It's such a pick up and play game that's perfect for killing like 10 or 20 minutes (or hours if you really want) so being able to simply click on the game and play it without anything further is nice.
