Linear is fine with me as long as it's good and CoD4 is good.

For Jim, the only one of those I played was Carnival Games and it's ok. The multiplayer is a bit more limited than I would've liked (you can't choose the games in MP mode...wtf), but like most of these Wii games, it's fun for short bursts with other people.
 
COD4's single player felt like more of the same, from what I played. I played the demo level, one outdoor level that takes place at night (don't know which one), and the level on the ship. It's alright... it still feels like COD though, and that's really not what I wanted, I guess. Just feels like the same thing over and over, and it wasn't particularly fun in the first place.


Man, I wish I was at home so I could play some UT3...

I'm gonna rent that for myself once I get a zapper, but to play with my family I want something that's less of a "traditional" game. I'm especially intrigued by Cranium like I said, but worried about the glasses.

I hate Mega Man Zero games man!!!

I have only played thru the first 3 and am now trying to do the 4th...

what sucks is that I am never happy unless I beat the stage with PERFECT SCORE!

so a stage that should take 3.5 minutes to beat gets replayed over and over and OVER and OVER again for like a whole hour!!
 
Inu/ Rei - You guys still playing Rockband? Now that I got my repair Guitar I'm 100% better. I was probably pretty awful those nights we were playing, but the game feels much better now.

EDIT: Somebody told me that some guy on the OTT thread was talking smack about me? That I sucked at Rockband? WTF is that about? I had a busted down-strum, the games been out for like 2 weeks, of course I'm gonna suck. My pride and loyalties are hurt, I thought CAG was full of nice people :cry:

I want that plasma SO BAD!! Every time I see it in person, I think about throwing down, and being in debt. When I get a regular job, that's my first big purchase.

Who was talking badly about you? I thought you were doing pretty well from when we played. I on the otherhand kind of suck. I pretty much stick to medium, and sometimes play on hard. I don't care though. I'm just playing to have fun.
 
its a toss between my truck back or a machine that was able to play ps3, xbox 360 pc and all past console games . and that was small enough to fit under my tv.

Oh, is that who it was. Was he bitter about something cause I don't remember playing with him? I was doing a trade with a fellow CAG and he just happened to mention it. I guess he reads the OTT cause I don't. Partly because the last couple times I posted people were total a-holes. Reminded me of Gamefaqs-esque behavior.

But yeah I'll be on, I got a day off (finally). It's been a crazy week for me too. After I get burnt out of/or beat Popful Mail, and I imagine that'll happen around after 6PM I'll look for you guys.
 
I've been playing FEAR on PC lately. I need to get rid of the lean keys, when I play Team Fortress 2 I try to lean around the corner and I end up quick-switching my weapons.

I'm glad I held off on replaying Bioshock. Now I'll get to play it with all the new content and at max setting after I get my 8800GT.

Some of the people can be assholes.
Some are cool though.

This is why I love them. Though 4 gives you no reward for getting a good rank, so I didn't bother, so the game took half the time.

Gotta ask -- you have like 8 good TVs. Do you have a good sound setup though? I can guarantee you that getting good speakers would be more worthwhile than that TV, even though it's a hell of a TV.
 
I've been playing Chronicles of Riddick : Escape From Butcher Bay for PC, which is about 10x better than the shitty Chronicles of Riddick movie. Killing guards with their own guns and stabbing people in the sweet spot with a screwdriver FTW.

Just picked up Spider-Man 3 (360) w/ free $5 Gift Card for $17. I know the game is pretty bad but I always wanted to play it since I'm a huge comic book fan. Figured after I had my fill I'll send it over to my brother for his X-Mas present. Win Win for me.

I had fun with Spider-Man 3 (helped that I'm also a comic dork like you). It wasn't the most technically astounding game, but I had enough fun with it to play through all the missions aside from a couple of the optional like police ones or whatever.

I'm looking into either a Onkyo or Yamaha receiver and some polk audio subs/speakers... for my next setup...

Trust me, you can do much better for less money than Polk. If you do decide to change things up with the sound stuff anytime soon, lemme know.

I need help! My brother wants an 30-32 inch HDTV for Christmas. Looking to spend about 450 (or less if possible). I know that I won't be able to get a Sony or anything, but what's the best TV I can get for that price?

Yeah, the best option for a sub at any price range (except the low price range...) is going to be from SVS. It's one of those things where you don't realize how important a good sub is until you've heard one. Then you can't go without. So it's sorta as bad as drugs in a way. For speakers... eh, Onix, SVS, Axiom... all excellent stuff. Basically, if you haven't heard of it and it's expensive, chances are that it's good.

Jim, you prolly can't swing a Samsung at that price, so your best bet is probably Westinghouse or Vizio. Since your bro plays games (which he does if this is the same one I'm thinking of), be sure to get one with a response time of 8ms or less.

Like no one on my friends list has the game, and I hate playing with random people. Mostly because random people are morons. Here's a real life example:

Random person: Are you gay?
Me: Excuse me?
Random person: You know, your drummer is a girl.
Me: Really? Oh man, thanks for telling me. I didn't even notice! I'm so embarassed! *leaves band*
