If I were so sleepy, I would have smashed the OTT into my brain.

Am I missing something? RB starts you in the green, has easier overdrive points and everyone benefits from them. Thus, it's more forgiving.
If I'm not mistaken, GH starts you off in the yellow, while RB starts you off in the green.
Yes.
Add that to GH seems to have harder starpower points (compared to overdrive) along with the amount each "saves" you.
Yes.
Also, the fact that you benefit from someone else using overdrive in RB, whereas you don't benefit if someone uses starpower in GH and it's easy to see why RB is more forgiving.
Yes. :D

I don't know what version of Rock Band you guys are playing, but at least for me, Rock Band has always been easier than Guitar Hero.

The co-op star power thing that GH Metallica did was incredibly stupid, so I hope they fix it in one of the half-dozen other GH games they're coming out with or else those games will absolutely suck when playing with others.

Hitting notes is infinitely easier in GH- some songs are just big long hammer-on/pull-off fests. They're definitely more lenient with the window to hit a note as well. The charts in GH are harder, though, IMO.

Also, the Game Deal Daily deal isn't really a deal at all, you can get GH:WT for less than $20 shipped on eBay.

I think what Trakan was getting at with the "forgiving" is the amount of time an input is accepted to be valid. With RB your timing for strums or whatever needs to be more precise, especially with the HO/PO notes, at least as far as my experience goes.
I think GH5 noticeably harder than RB not only because of the charts but the timing window too, but having to knock down a RB Expert song to Easy or Medium in GH is a bit much.
Mojojojo is posting from the future :whee:

Awesome!
Actual Tru Blood beverage coming soon.

They had the beverage at Comic Con last year at a bar, it was alcoholic. I didn't try it though.
Congrats on your new personal computer, Maklershed! :whistle2:o
Thanks mang. Are you on steam?
Hey Mak, I don't know why you couldn't find me, but I added you as a friend on Steam.
I dont know either. Same thing happened when I tried to enter dcfox's name. But I ended up just going through Linkin's friends list to find "y'all".

You can really hear (and see) Josh Homme's influence on the Arctic Monkeys in the song Crying Lighting. I am really digging the sound, I can't wait for the full album to be out already.
Thanks mang. Are you on steam?
Not really. I'll add you once I build a PC, sometime in the next 12 months.

Now that I've got a computer that can actually run games, I need to get some multiplayer stuff on Steam. All I've got now is the original Half-Life Anthology.

I missed the Orange Box for $10 by about a week. :bomb:
Well that was fast. Already got an email from Sony saying they received my request and they're already sending a coffin.
Their service is off the fucking chain. It sucks paying for it, but they make it as painless as possible.
Cool Tumblog, Chika.
Thanks! I'd really appreciate it if you followed me or if you like'd me.

Back home.
My grandpa let me drive his 68 California Special Mustang GT, and it was beautiful. The only other person he's let drive it since it was restored was my dad, so I felt pretty dang special. The thing has a fucking 390 in it.

I'd have no problem paying $50 for the repairs but $150? fuck that. Only reason I'm even doing it is cause it's a BC model. Otherwise I would of probably saved up and got a new one instead.

So is a WRT54G with DD-WRT still one of the best routers out there for Xbox Live, To???nts and News???ups?

Or does someone have a suggestion?

I don't think the brand entirely matters, so long as you can get DD-WRT on it.
It's kind of annoying that my ISP has blocked /b/.
That is horrible that they block content. (But you aren't missing anything.)

Hm... OK. I am trying to decide on what router to get, and I want to make sure I get a good one.
What ISP are you on?
ATT. I don't really care about not being able to get on 4chan, but ATT censoring the internet doesn't sit well with me.
