If you could own ONE mint arcade cabinet...

Ghouls N' Ghosts - My favorite game of all time. Back in 2000/01, there was a near-mint cabinet at the Boardwalk arcade in San Diego, it vanished in mid-2001, I'd love to know where it went and if it's still functioning somewhere.

Had a chance to get this in the early 90s when a local arcade closed before the price went through the roof, but I was only a teenager and had no place to store it. I still regret not just getting it anyway and dealing with what to do with it no matter how bad my folks freaked out on me...

Sonic Championship (AKA Sonic The Fighters)
I want one too, but I'd prefer SEGASonic The Hedgehog, as that one never got any kind of console release.

My most wanted is The Simpsons Arcade Game! :D

A twin Daytona USA cabinet is all I would need for the rest of my life. Then I could go on ebay and buy a couple Daytona USA 2 JAMMA boards and convert it each time I wanted to play 1 or 2 :)
Killer Instinct. To this day I still want one. That or the Simpson's game.
Good one.

I remember that Nintendo Power contest where that kid won a KI arcade machine. I really, really wanted to be that kid.

i would love to have a midevil madness pinball machine if pinball counts otherwise i would have to say starblade (not sure of the subtitle... delta?) can never find a picture of the full game... it was in a room approx 20x30 feet projected onto a screen with six turrets you would sit in and fire at the screen. Never played another game like it...

Nice, I actually came here to post that. I owned it back in the US and put a lot of work into fixing it up. Was working great and used to have friends over all the time for 6 player action! Damn it was sweet, but I had to sell it when I left for Japan. It's most certainly one of my biggest regrets.

It was a tough choice between a Missile Command machine with a real trackball or this, but...The Lost World pulled it off. Mostly because it never saw a console release.

I always wanted a sit-down Power Drift cabinet. The game was pretty fun as a standup cabinet, but the way the car worked in the sitdown cabinet made it amazing. The thing tilted at nearly a 45 degree angle to the left and right.

You could get seriously injured standing too close to the thing while someone else was playing. I think I've even seen them equipped with seatbelts so you won't fall out while you're playing.

Crazy Taxi (the sit down Version) or after burner (also the sit down version that moves!) Anytime is see either one of them i drool a little bit.

Man I played that game so much at the arcade. You could put in your initials and your password number and save your character. My guy was such a beast when I would go in to play. I'd play for at least like an hour or two it seems like everytime I went there and only spent a couple bucks each time.

I gotta admit, I did consider that one myself- but it's easy enough to get on home consoles, plus I don't think I could talk anyone into playing with me anymore.

Putting aside the nostalgia factor and bringing in the pure logic factor, you could make a ton of money if you could magically conjure up a mint Polybius... assuming you didn't go crazy or get 'removed' by government agents.

Killer Instinct

Too bad there's no market for brand new arcade cabinets like there is for sealed games/consoles. :(

I agree with whipsmartbanky fo real! TmnT arcade game, but after thinking about it, I would really want to go with either mk3 or Umk3 as that game took up alot of time in my life in my life.

This or Tekken 3. I had a chance to get a near mint Tekken 3 before I moved to Indianapolis the first time for fairly cheap but didn't think I'd really have the room for it. I would have and I haven't found one for cheap in a while. Sucks.
