I may have to hold off on getting a 360 till August 1st since the damn rumor about the Pro Bundle comming out...

if you can't tell by now, I'm pissed by how many times I'v had to hold out on getting a 360...

That bundle isn't happening... the ads for the week after next are already leaked and there is no mention of an Xbox 360 bundle at all.

If that bundle was a reality, it would have been in the ads. Not Target or Circuit City made a mention of it.

I finally got my DoA 4 legs back with Bayman, so I'm now a rank C and have a bronze star.
 
I'll play you soon enough Roufuss, once I get my 360 mem card in the mail to transfer my profile to my Japanese 360 with my Japanese copy of DOA4. $30 beats $40-60 any day after all.

I think Markman said that the DOA 4 stick is a really good joystick solution for the PC, since it's a USB stick, and converters are sometimes funky.

this is a common thing with SBC, eh? it's really bad and this never happened before... If I play online for an hour, it's guaranteed drop out at least 4 times. I was planning on calling them on monday to find out what the hell is going on...hopefully I won't get outsourced
 
For people that play X-Box live: What do you think about Street Fighter AC? On average I play it online twice a week. The competition is stiff, and most people that play are either B rank or higher. Even though at first I got beat most the time, it did make me much better.

I'm just hoping they make it BC on the 360 so I can continue my 3s streak:cool:

Yeah although for me it's not as bad as it seems with you but when it drops sometimes it'll just be fucking gone for who knows how long.
 
Hey, is anyone interested in some Xbox Live today?

I have Guilty Gear X2 Reload (haven't played this in a LONG time), Samurai Shodown V, Capcom vs. SNK2, Street Fighter AC, KOF 2002/2003, KOF Neowave, SVC Chaos, DOAU, Capcom Fighting Evolution (I haven't played this much at all though), MK Deception (haven't played this much either).

awsome! thanks for the heads up. I gotta mow my lawn tommorow in the morning, but after that it's straight to EB to get my 360 and pay off my Tekken DR. I'll probably get the system + DoA4 + $20 of MS Points (whatever that comes out to). Once I get my next paycheck I'll buy the year of Gold Live, but use my free month in the mean time.

I plan to re-pickup some xbox titles I use to own. Anyone have the list of Xbox fighters that don't work on the 360 yet? Even though I don't like it too much, I'll probably pick up SF AC again for it so I can get some online fights and maybe Neowave...

oh, and about neowave: how good is the online community for it?
 
I'm pretty sure almost all the 2D fighters dont work on 360 yet and probably never will. I think DOA3 and maybe Ultimate work but who cares about them if you are going to have 4.

To my knowledge, none of the Xbox fighters work, only DoA 3.

Ultimate dosen't work, which is odd.

Eh, it dosen't bother me if the bundle comes out or not... I got a 1600 marketplace card for free at BB thanks to a gift card, PGR 3 is $10 from the MS Retail team, and I got a year of Live for $26 thanks to a CAG.

The only thing I hope is if that bundle comes out soon within the next 24 or so days, they will lower the cost of the Premium and I can get some cash back.

aww... just fuck it for me... I'll pick it up tommorow. The extra points are about $16 more, I dont care one bit about PGR3, and I dont need the 3 months since I'll be getting a year subscription when My next paycheck comes by.

I'm tired of waiting anyway and need something to pass the days (2 to be exact) till Tekken DR comes out... actually if you hadn't posted with that minor rebutle Roufuss I probably would have waited... Really I would have saved money if I wait, but barely much anyway. I'll just start asking around on CAG for 360 stuff now.
 
It took all day, but I'm about to finally unlock Helena and the Spartan.

If only I could do Hayate's fucking Raijin throw i'd have the Tatami stage too.

Word on the street is that the Spartan is just a modified Leon / Bayman.. she started as a completely Bayman ripoff but Team Ninja wanted to make her unique.

I need someone to partner Bayman / Leon (if I don't feel like using both in a Tag match) up with, so this works out nicely.

I hopped on doa4 for about 20 minutes tonight and dropped out twice, so I give up for now. I went 5 and 1 against A ranks though :boxing:

Yeah, Roufuss isn't as bad as he was a few days ago... he's a legitimate challenge now and there's really no CAG's I don't like playing against at this point.

you've got all the costumes already?! very impressive :) I don't have any except for everyone's C3 and all of the ones for the people I use.
 
I may have to get in on one of these doa 4 sessions you guys seem to be having alot of lately. I haven't played in a long while but its always cool to find people who just like playing the game and aren't gonna be all 6th grade when you win a close one(or beat them like a small child).

No, I've got a fair amount of costumes though, I'd say maybe 1/2 of all of them.

I *finally* pulled off Hayate's Raijin when I got disconnected from Chacrana's game, so I'm going through everyone in time attack to hurry up and get Tengu. Once I unlock him and do his exercise I should be able to get the tatami stage, since I'll have done everyone's exercise in training mode.

I've gotten the bronze, silver, and gold achievement for time attack, it's just too bad you don't get costumes when you put the round count to 1.

Haha, I'm maxing out my DoA 4 playtime, that's where most of these achievements came from.

I literally have played it for roughly 8 hours today. Getting Helena was awesome though, she's still pretty decent.

I play him pretty decently, I think;) . When i want to whore out wins I'll bust out my ken and chunli, you can't go wrong with those 2. Anyhow want to play, I'll throw you a frequest. I'm training for evo right now so different playstyles will be good to play against.

Good God... I'm not sure I've ever played 8 hours of various games in a day... well it's good to see you're practicing.

I've been thinking though... as good as DOA 4 is, I really wish MS would try and get a second fighting game on the system (apart from the XBLA stuff.) Instead of guaranteeing us the next generic FPS, why not give hardcore fans something like Fist of the North Star for once?

Ah well...
