Well, I dont want it to stop working on me or something. I had a cheap system selector a long time ago and two of the inputs crapped out within 6 months. If the absolute cheapest one does the job, then I'll take it. I'm looking for quality build, not a quality signal.

Only thing is that some people may end up with extended return periods on them. All of those hoarders should be stuck with them and end up selling them at a loss.

This is why I said I was saying I was halfway there.

The major point here is that these college kids - who aren't much younger than me - pretty much all function according to all college kid behavior, whether or not their uber-liberal school is around them. Meaning they want to party just as much as the sort of guys who want to kick their ass at a war protest rally.

This means - annoyingly - that they will/would get on my case just as much as anyone else if I showed up and just didn't care to talk to them about their interests. This is only magnified with the lack of drinking. That'll send some of them into orbit.

As for judgement, oh well. At the least I'm doing it on my own, without the need to go and slam these kids in the face with whatever it is I have to say/think about them, meaning they won't feel any negative repurcussions about it. Whether or not I show up makes no damn difference to anyone there (with the small exception of my sister, and I doubt she'll linger upon it). However, if I show up and feel like a total idiot, that's just ruining my night, when I could just as easily stick around and go to the movies with my gf or something.

Oh well. The discussion is pretty much over, fun while it lasted.

My guess is the grouser formerly known as electrictroy, because (1) there have been (a total guess) very few IP bans on CAG, and (2) said subject was a notorious idiot and attention whore, characteristics magnificently shown in just two goddamn posts.

That's my deduction, but you may not read this as a mod deletes this as a means of creating a CAG villain of legend, thus motivating the shitass to continue to try and get back onto CAG.

I mean,if the IP ban doesn't work, then create a usertitle called "fuzzylilbunny" and post at your will. For fuck's sake, if you want to be a villain, at least try to take a hostage, or blow up a building. Threadcrapping on the OTT is like 090-level villainy.

(1) There's numerous IP bans on CAG.

Damn, that is a sweet deal. I already have a 20GB iPod and have bought 2 MP3 players in the past few days so I have absolutely no use for it. But I was still tempted for a second. I've gotten a bit too quick to jump on deals with all of the great ones in the past couple weeks. :mrgreen:

An iPod speaker system I picked up for my SO arrived today and it looks really really nice. I got a really really really crappy one from OD.com (misrepresented as something much better) so I'm going to have her open that up on Xmas and act like it's something really special. Then when she either bites my head off or looks like she's about to cry I'll pull out the real sucker. Should be great!

I started a new diet, late last week -- Well, more of a new exercise regimen.

I've lost 8 lbs. so far, which is really good... but even better when I take into account all of the weight lifting I've been doing.

I'm gonna try to slim down to what I was a couple of years ago, when I lost a shit-load of weight. ( I lost 40 lbs. in two months. )

For my back? I was only in there for a day. I was able to kind of walk after the surgery, but my mobility was non-existent.

When I fucked my back up was when I gained some of that weight back.

I had to do a dietary regime when I played competitive soccer and now that i've seen some of my friends who've quit I really think it's anything with high fructose corn syrup - that shit just doesn't breakdown in your body.

You should try not eating anything with high fructose corn syrup for two months and see what it's like.

I only say this because i can't really eat anything with it, and i didn't gain almost any weight after I stopped working out a lot but most of my friends did (and i still drink like a beers all the time)
