I'm pretty sure this is some type of miscommunication. Supposedly they were going to stop taking pre-orders today. I think they construed that as meaning zelda for the GCN is dropped.
 
Didn't Nintendo firmly say that TP was coming out on the Gamecube? That's the only reason i'm holding on to that thing.

What possible reason would they have to stop preorder unless their second option aside from cancelling it completely is to make it a limited print run. Either of those options doesn't leave me too happy.
 
This Zelda news isn't a big deal for me. I won't be getting a Wii until (probably) next year, and I have more than enough patience to wait until the Zelda game is released.

I am, however, dying for FFXII.

I just spent the last hour playing Super Mario World. That game is just great. I should just get a SNES this holdiay instead of a Wii.

I've been saying it since they announced it on the Wii, releaseing it for the GC would be a mistake. Not only would it allow people to easily compare the GC to a Wii in terms of graphics but it would remove a huge incentive for buying the new system.

I'm not surprised. I don't think anyone is surprised, really; just upset. This is one of the few games I was planning on getting this Holiday Season, and I was looking forward to it. I don't want to buy a Wii. Had they announced this back when the Wii was first announced, I wouldn't have been as pissed. Don't fucking lead me on up until a month and a half before its release to cancel it. That's bullshit.

This was the Gamecube's last hurrah for me, and now it might not happen? Shiiit.

I'm optimistic until Nintendo officially announces anything, though. Joystiq will post anything.

This is true, it's just that people (especially at joystiq) are somehow suprised by this possibility.

Oh well hopefully Nintendo releases it on the GC, maybe they'll just move the GC launch date back a couple months as an incentive for people to buy the Wii.

1) I need to trade in my Gamecube for the $50 bucks. I would also like to trade in my GB Player. Anyone know how much is that worth? I hope to tget $15 for it.

2) I need to buy something to get 500 RZ points at BB. Not sure what yet.

3) It may get Dead Rising. But then the question is, do I buy it for $40 and a bonus $10 Reward Cert or do I go into store and get it for $35 and get something else like maybe some cheap anime box for the Reward Cert at the kiosk.

4) I might get a bunch of clear 4 DVD cases fo my DVD colection. Specifially my Anime. Then I can break down my four disc collections to one case and my 7/8 disc collections to 2.

7) I can't remember if I paid the water bill. I think I mailed it, but it's been three weeks and I haven't seen anything show up in my checking account.

9) I found a gas leak in the new house I bought. Two actually. One at the stove and one at the water heater. So that agaion delays me moving in. Which pisses me off. Must get out of parents house ASAP. Was shooting for before Halloween but now it looks like first week of November.

10) And it looks like I'm going to get a whole new bunch of pricegrabber rebates They listed a whole new slew. But none for PC. :(

There are a few GBA games and maybe a few PS2 games that you could sell for like break even or a few dollars lost, then the $10 comes in and you win (you have to go in store pickup to avoid shipping)
