I'm really disappointed about the Xbox360

Personally I think this is the case. There are still great games coming out on all systems.
 
The fact that these are launch titles is the best part. Look at the Xbox launch titles other than Halo and all we had was crap. Wait a year or two and the 360 will truly shine.


It's a great time to be a cheap ass gamer.

Call of Duty didn't impress me but I look forward to DOA 4, you can't judge it quiet yet because it's true only the launch games are out and people are talking about problems, i'll wait till the problems get worked out I still have some XBOX games to buy for the original before I go after a 360.

I beg to differ. Why are you trying to convince somone who obviously doesn't care about graphics at all about the importance of the subject. It's all personal taste and we all know how it's going to end up in the end so these kind of discussions should best be avoided alltogher because everyone here is a stubborn asshole either way.

It has nothing to do with an epeen. Neither of us have insulted the other. By your logic, there should be absolutely no posts except those which point out a deal and even then, no one should respond to it. Sure we all have opinions before we post something, but some of the mature ones can change their mind or at least understand someone else's opinion.

actually there is plenty of legit discussion that doesn't involve a useless internet debate. Topics about help on games, actual discussion on the console itself with features, and actual questions about hardware. Not "LoLz Graphicz mean NOTIEN to me so I AEIM REIghT!" or "Ps3 Roxor Xbox 360 Suxxor!". I don't see the point of convincing either side of anything except to stop wasting space with these rediculous posts.
 
Well I can say right now the only reason I don't own a 360 is becasue I didn't camp out and I'm not willing to pay the insane eBay prices.

But from what everyone has said, the 360 is a rather big improvement over the original XBox. Not only in graphics power, but the dashboard and live community is so improved that it makes the original Live look like a joke. Considering how many hours I put into Halo 2 and Rainbow Six on Live I can't wait to grab a 360, especially when the next Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six is live enabled, they are going to rock.

I also can't wait to get my hands on PGR3 and bet on the other ricers. lol.

heh PGR3 is very non ricery ;). More Euro Cars kind of like the NFS games.

see that's the thing. the 360's pretty cool, but for one to really warrant its purchase, you'd need a $2-3000 system to make the experience worthwhile. i mean, i'm willing to bet most 360 owners don't have an HDTV + surround sound system to really enjoy the console.
 
You can enjoy this console on a regular TV Halo 2 looks 2 times better on the Xbox 360. Xbox360 is the the best launch since the Dreamcast. A lot of you guys on the forum suck let people enjoy their new toy. Haters suck you bastards.

$2000? $3000? That's a little high if you're talking about a bedroom setup.

A decent 27 inch LCD HD set will run you around $700. Maybe more, maybe less, depending on how much hunting you do for a deal. Or you could go CRT and save a couple hundred bucks.

I got my surround sound system for $100 shipped. Its not top of the line, but it does Dolby Digital and DTS and all that good stuff, and is perfect for a bedroom.

The 360 is $400. Add that in and you're only looking at $1200 for a medium sized room (12 x 12). Of course with a living room you want a bigger TV - that's when you start talking $2,000 - $3,000 range.

I'd say I enjoy this game even more than I enjoyed Prince of Persia Sands of time and that was one of the only platformers i'd ever play. I personally think the whole mario sunshine thing is way overplayed and boring. Collecting coins? no thnx....
Also i'm quite impressed by the game design in Kameo, I never feel like I'm lost nor do I get fustrated because of crappy game design. The only con I have seen so far is of course the length and occassionaly at times the camera can piss me off, esp in shallow water.

I'll admit i'm not a fan of many of the character designs or even Rare for that matter, but this game has turned out to be quite solid. If anyone is on the fence about this game you really should at least rent it. It's even got a bit of dynasty warriors in it going out and messin with a boatload of orcs :)[/QUOTE]

I'm not sure, but I think you're contradicting yourself. The reasons for forums, as Mr. Unoriginal eluded to, is to discuss such topics as you have with Kameo vs. 3D Zelda.

Also I would have to agree with him questioning why you even come here. It seems in most posts or threads you start your opinion is the only opinion. Sure we all come across things we disagree with, but you have a cult like mentallity like everyone should hop on your train and this will never happen. Grow up and let the rest of us speak, if you don't like it don't come around.
 
I thought the 2D Zeldas sucks. Boring.

Ocarina had an awesome story to go along with it, and I really felt like I was talking to *real* people (not just icons).
