Stop scamming Target, sean.
I still have an old 1k psp.

Amazon better give me my $9 bucks afterd ropping the price for Warhammer online.

I'm watchuing this documentary of Hugo Chaves from Frontline and it's amazing. I knew a bit about Hugo Chavez but seeing him talk on tv is shocking. He's like Stalin or Hitler in his Charisma.
From what I'm told by people who have been to Venezuela, a good portion of the populous actually like him as a leader. The other 50% of the people are becoming deathly impoverished because of him though.

I really hate the business side of art.

This business proposition, which this guy in my community gave me, stinks.

I really hate the art majors out at my school, it's like they live in their own little world or something. They look down on anyone not pursuing something in the arts.

He wants me to be the character designer / illustrator of other peoples' stories. That's a bit of a turn off, because, 1.) I hate creatively working with other people (unless we're on the same wavelength, and I have some sort of control  ), and 2.) people with "business" minds view this as grunt work.

And to prove that he viewed it as grunt work, he said that he'd pay me based on the work I did (kind of like an agency), but he'd own my work. Sure, someone else created the character... but if I create a physical manifestation of the character, I created it, too.

I don't give a shit about getting paid, but I absolutely hate the idea of someone making money off of something I created.

I know at VCU in Richmond (Where they are known for their school for the Arts and Medicine), the artsy kids and the medicine kids all but fight each other. I always thought college was supposed to be more mature than high school, but apparently its the same way, except there are more people with facial hair.

I took all of the art classes, video editing classes, a couple of stagecraft classes and some English classes, and dropped out. The college establishment ain't for me.
I can understand that.

Would be nice to have the extra money though.
Yeah, but not at that expense. It just wouldn't feel right.

He's seen my work before, and let me know that his company is a "Christian company". That kinda turned me off a little, too.

Well, I asked what that meant, and he said that the stories were going to be wholesome, but not about Jesus, and whatnot. So I don't get why he said "Christian company".
Yeah, but not at that expense. It just wouldn't feel right.

Ah, fuck that then.

You missed it, manthong. Yesterday, I soundboarded a remote broadcast, where the DJ accidentally said "Shit" on the air, in between Soulja Boy songs, where they had deals on USB-Bluetooth adapters! :bouncy:

Hey Brak, how would you like to collaborate with me on this Hancock comic book I'm writing?

I hope you get 1000+ calls asking for Hannah Montana and/or Soulja Boy songs when you're the local soundboard Open House Party tonight.

And followed by a 16 hour 2x shift in the Gallery tomorrow

It cracks me up when people think that. As if once you turn 18 or so, you're suddenly mature. If anything, college is just high school for older kids.

Avoid the Last Remnant.

I just put a couple hours into it today. I installed it on my hard drive because I read about the loading issues. That's nto so much a problem when it's installed. Yeah, texture pop cna happen but while installed it's barely noticible. More unfortunately, there a deifinite AA issue that makes edged shimmer terrible.

But gameplay wise the game would be cool if not for the frame rate issues. The problem is that combat has triggered events. And the frame rate gets so bad that the trigger events are useless because the timing can't be counted on. When the frame rate is okay it works. But that's a 50/50 chance. And right now I only have two units with five characters each. I'd hate to see it with 50+ characters on the screen at a time. It would become unplayable.

Guess I'll trade it in at GS for PoP and hope the problems are fixed in the PS3 version.

I would ultra-smash Hannah Montana, when I was 16.

I'll bankroll it on one condition:

It extrapolates on the 2nd hour of the film, maybe his/her adventures in 1930's Miami

...

You can make the triggered events automatic in the options menu.

It tells you that the first time you get to a triggered event.

People who are into art have no business sense. If you're working for someone else, you get paid for what you did and the rights to it. If you want to create and profit off your work, why don't you write your own book and illustrate it?
Or maybe find a writer and collaborate with them.

I don't like how they're terrified of tragedy, swearing, sex, violence... All of those are great story mechanics, and can be used to teach a moral lesson.

Charles Schulz had it right with A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Be glad you don't live here, businesses actually use the christian bent in advertising here. I saw some ad for a christian brake shop last week.

And who doesn't love that song from it?

My music teacher was talking to us about Jazz last Thursday, i never really noticed, but the music in the charlie brown specials are most all live jazz recordings.

I write stories, temp. I just don't write them on paper.

I've had a hard time being able to just sit down and draw, like I used to. If I can't execute something as it is in my mind, I view it as a complete and utter failure. And unfortunately, I get easily frustrated. I'm trying hard to work around that, and thankfully, making money off of art couldn't be further from my mind... and people care WAY too much about that factor.

Just browsing through their library. The selection seems pretty shitty.
Now you'll be able to show porn to your dishwasher anytime!
 Is this one of those OTT urban legends or did it really happen?
