Impressions of Nintendogs (for those who got the freebie)

Personally, I would give it a 9. But that might be because I love sims like this, and am a sucker for anything that's cute. 
I first thought that there might not be enough to keep me interested, but after I got another dog in the game, it kept me busy with more competitions, walks, etc. Seeing the two interact and play together is very neat.
I'm also intrigued to see just what other toys I can find for them--can't wait to find one of the toy Mario karts.
Don't expect a full review from me, as I'm horrible at writing them.
Also, I want to correct one of my earlier statements; you can actually have up to 8 dogs. 5 in the hotel, 3 out at any given time. 3 competitions per day, per dog. One walk every 30 minutes, per dog.

You unlock things with Trainer Points. I'm not sure exactly what activities give what amount of points, but you seem to gain them by training your dogs, taking them on walks, and entering competitions. Winning may give more, I'm unsure.
I'm at 5740 points now, and have two additional breeds unlocked. They are at every 2000 points so far.

Because it seems like a good, origanal, Japan made game, three things Famitsu looks for.
Well Nintendo's little promotion seemed to have at least swayed one person into buying Nintendogs: me.
some quick Qs: Can you have more than one dog? or at least swap out your current dog for another? Can I have a chuwawa (yes I know, no where near the proper spelling)?

1. Yes. Up to 3 out at once, 5 more in the Hotel. (though the Hotel may cost $, I have yet to use it)
