Because you put yourself in a position where shit could go down. You were complaining last night that you were an emotional wreck because you were afraid you were going to get arrested. If you hadn't been drinking, that wouldn't have been an issue at all.
Maybe I'm just jaded from work though. I see kids come through all the time who are getting kicked out of school because they were having a rough time and so they turned to drugs or to alcohol. But they couldn't just have a few beers, or smoke the occasional joint with just a few friends and watch a movie. They ended up getting so wasted/high that they can't even control what is going on around them and that's when they get caught. Then they like to come in and bitch that it's unfair that they getting kicked out of school because all they were trying to do is cope with stress. Bullshit.
TL;DR Version: If you wanna drink, that's fine. But don't bitch that you were afraid you were gonna get caught when you knew you were doing something illegal.
No, I'm an emotional wreck because I'm an emotional wreck, not because the cops could have come. In reality I guess I was alcohol exaggerating because the odds of the cops coming were low since there were a multitude of sober people caring for her and who took her to the hospital.
I don't see what kind of "situation" I was in that shit could go down. Nothing was crazy, it wasn't a party, it was nothing more than getting drunk with a few of my friends and sitting at home (yeah so riveting). Unfortunately one bitch fell. It's not like someone pushed her or something. What better situation should I have chosen? Give everyone a helmet?
