My Circuit City was SOLD OUT, could you believe it? I was shocked myself. I blame any nearby CAGs.
Luckily, you didn't beat me.
I snagged an ad on the way out, and went to the nearby Best Buy. Couldn't find it on the shelfs there, but they had some carts laid out and lo and behold, there was ONE copy just lying there. Swoop! Mine.
Making sure how the price matching worked, I went to customer service and asked if I could get the game for this price. Sure, she said. Just present the ad. No problem, sweetie.
Glancing around, I noticed some odd DVD case called the Art Collection. It just screamed freebie, so I grabbed it and asked the nearby employee what it was, free or not? Let's go find out, he chimes.
So we walk up and ask about the art collection. He scans it, and it comes up $14.99. $15 for this? You are joking, remove that crap. But wait, out of the corner of my eyes, the employee is scanning the ad and right there it says "FREE ART BOOK". It's free! It's free! He talks to the clerk. The clerk is stumped, he must be new. He asks a higher-up, who explains how to get the ad, he types it in. Bing, a popup appears - "FREE ART BOOK WITH PURCHASE". I show him the ad, he price matches it, and I get a free art book.
Not bad, not bad at all. Though I dunno why I wanted the art book. Free stuff is good.
I felt like making a story out of this.
