Information about two games

Ace-Of-War

CAGiversary!
I need some information guys, I have two questions:

1. What do you get extra if you get The Godfather: Special Edition as opposed to just The Godfather?

2. Does anyone know of any deals as far as preorders go for with The Godfather or Driver: Parallel Lines?

Thanks in advance, I'm really starting to like this community. :D

I didn't see anything for Godfather Collector's Edition, but for Driver, there is a free T-shirt with preorder from gamestop.

Info on Godfather: Special Edition from Overstock.com makes it sound like there's a extra DVD that has these features:

Limited Edition includes special bonus features, a behind the scenes video with James Caan and Robert Duvall, detailed making of the game footage and interviews, a documentary exploring the cultural impact of The Godfather, and an in depth wideo walkthroughs of game strategy.

I would wait on driver until reviews come out. I was a huge Driver fan, I logged more hours on ps1 playing the 1st driver then any game (maybe tomb raider 1) anyway. With the last game I would wait and see what they say. I predict a 7 out of 10 for the next driver.

Even if it sucks I'll still buy it. Driver is, without a doubt, my personal favorite game of all time. I made this decision some time ago, and I'm prepared to stick by it as long as gaming remains a part of my life. I know it's certainly not the best by traditional standards and I know by now it's dated, but I just can't get enough of that game. There are definitely better ones out there, but not in my eyes.

I have a lot of (blind some would say) faith in Reflections Interactive, and although I understand and sympathize with a lot of the Driv3r criticism, I do think some of the greater qualities were looked over. Check out the latest PSM for an indepth preview they had of Driver: Parallel Lines, with a concept like that I just can't stay away from it.

I won't be waiting on anything, thanks for your concern though. ;)

I strongly recommend you pick up the latest copy of PSM w/ Driver Parallel Cover and Free Demo. I played it tonight and being a fan of the series was disappointed. Now this is only a demo, but it looks like they just put a fresh coat of paint on Driv3r and made minor adjustments in the mechanics.

Thats not what I was wanting to hear. I did buy driver 3 and enjoy it some what. Cause Driver is my 2nd favorite franchise. However playing Driver 3 was like banging a fat chick with a pretty face. Your getting some and you can look at here face but its not really that great its still a fatty. However it satisfies that deep urge you have for sex and self destruction.

You're probably about right. I know Reflections Interactive claimed they were going to rework the game, especially the on-foot parts, but I've played through about half of the game at this point, and a 7 out of 10 seems like a reasonable score.

To this date I have experienced nothing like Survivor mode in hill-laden San Francisco in Driver 1, and Parallel Lines doesn't do anything to change that opinion. There is a survivor mini-game but there simply aren't enough hills around, nor are the police tenacious enough.

The on-foot gameplay is better (simply because there is less of it), but still on the upper end of suckness. Aiming is painful when multiple enemies are on-screen and the camera is a bitch control if you don't usually use inverted horizontal rotation.

Overall, you're probably right with a 7 out of 10. The pure driving missions are still a blast -- most of the time, but there just isn't enough there to give it more than 7 out of 10. At the same time, fans of the series are going to find they like Parallel Lines a hell of a lot more than DRIV3R.

Hey....some fat chicks are good at sex. I mean, I am sure they exsist somewhere.
